I had a fantastic Halloween this year, co-producing and emceeing the two Halloween Magic Revues with many of my friends. A total of 20 unique acts over two days that all had fun, but not as much as I did, and especially not as much fun as our audiences did. I have a habit of going outside after every show and thanking everyone for attending… as I spoke to them, I was surprised how many commented about how this was one of the best shows they have ever been to… Now if we could only figure out how to make it hugely profitable!
While hanging out with George Joseph at the Buffalo convention I was surprised when he mentioned that he still had a bunch of his Hand Mucking books at home. Although I knew he was working on a second edition, I didn’t know that he had them printed. Copies of these books have been regularly selling for more than $100 in the used book marketplaces.
The good news is that I just got a case of them and George agreed to autograph every single copy.

I believe that I first met George in 1980 at the Desert Magic Seminar and I distinctly remember sitting at his midnight lecture at the 1982 Seminar in Las Vegas where he first unveiled the book and discussed his Hand Mucking techniques. At the time it was way over my head and I did not appreciate what was being taught… but now…

Zodiac Coin:
After selling out a few times, another batch of these has just been manufactured and are available again. I really like this self-working routine with a cool prop. The most powerful part of the routine comes in the middle where you reveal the Zodiac symbol someone is thinking of without any questions or hints… it shocks people.
Many times, when I showed this to magicians, they all said the same thing… This would be perfect with Tarot Cards instead of playing cards (which is correct). I wonder how many of the purchasers are doing it with Tarot Cards?
