    MyMagic eNewsletter #972
    October 23, 2021

After going for years with two newsletters per week you may have noticed that I have been cutting back lately. Several reasons for this. Have not seen new items released lately that are worth my investment, the difficulty in getting raw materials and shorthanded companies not being able produce items for me, and other non-magic issues taking up much of my time.

Although the next David Roth release is very close, maybe 1-2 weeks away. Here is a hodgepodge of stuff.

There is a trend of magicians wanting softer and softer sponge balls, but in my opinion the softer they are the less springy they are. I always liked the balls that exploded out of the spectator’s hand and flew all over the place when their hand opened.

I was recently able to get a bunch of solid looking springy sponges manufactured by Fantasma Magic. They are available in red and black; I think you will like them.

    â–ºSpringy Sponge Balls:

These are extra springy while soft enough to manipulate. When a spectator opens their hands with a bunch of these, they fly all over the place creating surprise and extenuating the magical moment.

Comes with four 1.5-inch sponge balls. No instructions. Available in red or black.

As promised, I just got a few more of Ton’s Wallets (read what I originally wrote about them: HERE). This will probably be your last chance to get one.

    ►Ton’s Wallet:

Ton’s Wallet is a combination of a Himber Wallet and a card-to-wallet loader wallet.

What that means is that you can do a remarkable routine by having a signed card returned to the deck, remove the wallet from your pocket, show it empty, hand it to a spectator and later have them open it to show that their signed card is now inside.

Or you can use it as a standard Himber Wallet or for your favorite card to wallet routine.

The response for Bernardo Sedlacek’s card routine was excellent. I bought a ton of them and only have a few left. Get it while you can…

    â–ºSedladeck:

The Sedladeck is a devilishly structured routine where a deck of cards is placed in full view as you pretend to remove its spirit or essence.

A spectator or spectators pretend to eliminate/erase imaginary cards from the imaginary deck until there is one free selection left. That imaginary card is then turned face up, so it is the only face-up card in the imaginary deck.

When the real deck, that has been in full view the entire time, is said to have duplicated the imaginary deck, you remove the cards from the case, show that the freely selected card is the only one that is face up. But as a kicker ending you explain that throughout the procedure the spectators were erasing cards so when you spread the rest of the deck on the table all the cards are shown to be blank.

No deck switches. No rough and smooth. No sticky cards. No forcing. No difficult sleights. Can be used with any poker-size back design. Resets in seconds.

    Back In Stock:

Just received another shipment of M Rings in all available sizes. As usual you can request half-sizes between 9-12.5.

    eBay:

I keep adding more products to my eBay store and auction. As usual all auctions will end on Sunday night.

    Stay happy, Meir
