Meir’s Muses
MyMagic eNewsletter #639
September 6, 2017
Last weekend’s announcement of my latest release received a lot of praise and of course orders. All have now been shipped. It sounded like many people who purchased the earlier version are happy to get this new edition with the template and instructions on how to easily make the special bills so they can be given as souvenirs.
Several friends of mine emailed me congratulating me on this release and I wanted to quote two of them below since they mentioned things in their email that never occurred to me:
Paul Green: Congratulations on getting the rights for the Wonder Bill. I have used it for years and it can be a real stunner. It is a great routine to bring you and your audience together. I must tell you that I was doing a trade show for an optical company and the patter about the eye was absolutely a great tie-in. It actually led me to a few more years with the client.

Ryan Matney: I love this trick and bought the original release years ago. I had a silly little presentation about things people expect from magicians like mirrors and trapdoors. Then I bring out the bill saying, “I have a portable trap door. Sounds valuable but it’s only worth a dollar.” There is a subset of tricks that are good for showing adults after a kids birthday party to let them know you can do magic for them too. It helps if these tricks also entertain any kids watching. Wonder Bill fits both criteria and it’s one I did after many birthday shows for the parents.

I also just received stock of two items that I get frequent requests for:
Quiver is the best switching coin purse ever made. It works like a change bag and can be handed to a spectator to open. Every time I get these in stock they sell out. After a long wait they are back.
And this time they include a 30-minute instructional video with many applications for coins, cards and mentalism. (If you already purchased one from me the new instructions are already in your medial library).

The Piatt Envelope is one of the best, if not the best, multi-out envelope available. It is used by many mentalists and magicians because it looks innocent and works flawlessly.
I continually run out of these because they are time consuming to make (read that to be a pain in the ass). The other reason it was continually out of stock is that I used to supply these to Eugene Burger to sell at his lectures and he pretty much took everything I could produce.

This will also be the last reminder for New York area magicians who want to attend the Penguin Expos on Long Island and Manhattan. These should be a lot of fun and I will be at my booth performing some of my favorite routines that I have been writing about in these emails. Especially Super KFC Coins and Wonder Bill. Ask for a demo. They, like most products I sell, look much better live.
Until next time,
Meir
P.S: Because many of you asked I made many of the back issues of this newsletter available online. The archive can be found: HERE
