Astor received permission to release a little-known Ali Bongo product. It is the wallet he created that can produce or switch papers. He just made an excellent one made from plastic/vinyl that is large enough to handle US currency.
You can use it to produce money to pay people or use it as a money maker where you insert a piece of paper and turn it into money. Watch the trailer for some additional applications: HERE
While I was away, I received another large shipment of autographed “Frank Garcia: The Man With The Million Dollar Hands” books. Get them while you can.
►Ali Bongo Wallet:
This is an easy-to-use wallet that can be used for various visual routines using paper money or similar sized objects.
You are taught three routines with it (as seen on the trailer). The routines vary from producing money, changing one bill into another, or even multiple changes. A nice feature in most of the versions is that you can remove the bills and hand them out at the end.
You can even do things like borrowing a twenty-dollar bill from someone and changing it into four fives. Many possibilities possible, paper to money, or even using it to ring in a gimmicked bill.

►Frank Garcia: The Man With The Million Dollar Hands:
Frank Garcia was one of the few magicians during his lifetime that was extremely skillful in both stage and close-up magic and was entertaining in both capacities. He was also known as an expert sleight-of-hand artist and gambling expert.
This huge and fascinating book looks at his life through previously unknown photographs, letters, documents, clippings, illustrations, personal notes, and recollections from his friends.
You will read anecdotes from: Harrison Carroll, Michael Chaut, Joe Devlin, Dorothy Dietrich, Paul Gertner, Charles Greene, Joe Hernandez, Richard Kaufman, Mario Manzini, Jeff McBride, Roger Monaco, and George Schindler.
Also included are explanations to 85 of his routines (mostly cards). Many of which have become classics through his routining. He was a master at simplifying tricks, so they became easy to learn and featured direct and easy to follow presentations.

Decided to include a PDF Download with the instructions for my Vegas SvenPad Routine. If you purchased this in the past the PDF will be in your media library.
►Vegas SvenPad Routine:
This is a Las Vegas themed SvenPad that is made to look identical to the ones you find sold at most gift shops in Las Vegas. Like all SvenPads it is ingeniously constructed to force anything you like.
If you watch the trailer, you will see Meir demonstrate his basic routine. It fits this edition of the SvenPad like a glove. In addition to the Vegas SvenPad you will also get a bonus instructional sheet with Meir’s routine. You will need to supply your own poker chip, which can be easily found on eBay.
But you are not restricted to Meir’s routine, you can fill the pad with anything you like (Vegas restaurants, poker rooms, slot machines, etc.) and the prediction/souvenir can also be anything you like (matchbook, pen, ashtray, bar napkin, etc.).

►BACK IN STOCK:
I also restocked some of Astor’s other products. The two below are some of my favorites that are expertly made out of plastic. He is a leading expert in the use of the different types of flexible polymers (plastic). Likely the best we ever had in magic.
►Zebra Code Prediction:
This is a visually appealing revelation of a chosen card that you will have fun performing and you will want to carry with you.
After a card is selected and lost in the deck you show a square plastic sleeve with stripes on it and a plastic card with weird lines on it. You can explain that this is a primitive computer just like an abacus is a primitive calculator.
You show what animation looked like on an old black and white screen by sliding the card back and forth (halfway) and explain that it can also be used to divine chosen cards. You hold the sleeve above the deck or card and slowly slide the plastic card inside. Amazingly the lines begin to animate and slowly stop to display the selected card.

►Pocket Slot Machine:
This is a neat, nicely made plastic prop whose outer layer can turn. The basic routine is very simple.
A spectator thinks of one of the numbers in the inner disc and turns the outer disc that many times to see what slot machine symbol they arrive at.
You can immediately read their mind and tell them the symbol they are thinking of even though your back is turned. You can even do this while you walk away to another room. Everything is examinable, self-working, and it can be immediately repeated.
Instead of reading their mind you can also make a prediction before they even think of a number.

►MY MAGIC’S LATEST RELEASE:
►Twisted Royalty:
A quick and easy routine using a handful of cards that turn face up and face down one at a time and lead to an unexpected finish.
You start with a small packet of face-down cards that turn face up one at a time as the cards count down to a finale.
The Four turns face up, then mysteriously turns face down. Next the Three turns face up, followed by the Two. Finally, the Ace appears—and is immediately joined by the rest of its Royal Flush family?

PS: I bought so much stuff and spent so much money at Magic Live! The hardest part of writing these newsletters has become deciding which item to introduce you to next.
“The average person enjoys being entertained by magic, but if the routines are complicated, the tricks will become problems instead of magic.”
