It is no secret that I really enjoy gambling themed magic. You will find a ton of it throughout the site if you search for certain key words. The reason I have always been attracted to the theme is because it is relatable to most audiences and creates immediate interest.
I just received more stock of two outstanding routines which I really like that sold out multiple times through the years. Both are gambling themed but are not gambling demonstrations so they can be used as an interlude during a gambling act or fun things to do in a magic show.
They are the “What Happens In Vegas” which is now available in four different cards and the “Vegas SvenPad” routine. You can even do them during the same performance since both deal with casinos. They can also be combined into a single routine where the prediction is in the pad.
You will also find one of my favorite releases. What many magicians never realized is that I have two different presentations for Juan Tamariz’ Royalistic. The basic quick routine (HERE) and the gambler routine (HERE).
The basic routine can usually be found on me if I think I am going to do magic. Have performed it 10s of thousands of times.
►What Happens In Vegas:
You show a deck of cards whose backs represent many of the current and past casinos in Las Vegas and shake the card box explaining that it has a prediction inside.
As you deal cards on the table a spectator stops you at any casino back and that card is placed aside.
You then turn the deck over and start dealing cards face up in a pile and the spectator stops you at any card.
You open the card box and dump out a Poker chip that has a casino logo on one side and a playing card on the other. Neither of which matches the selections.
But when you turn over the two freely selected cards, they are seen to match your prediction with both the playing card face and the casino back. (Or you can turn over the cards during the routine as seen on the trailer for a much stronger effect).

►Vegas SvenPad Routine:
This is a Las Vegas themed SvenPad that is made to look identical to the ones you find sold at most gift shops in Las Vegas. Like all SvenPads it is ingeniously constructed to force anything you like.
If you watch the trailer, you will see Meir demonstrate his basic routine. It fits this edition of the SvenPad like a glove.
But you are not restricted to Meir’s routine, you can fill the pad with anything you like (Vegas restaurants, poker rooms, slot machines, etc.) and the prediction/souvenir can also be anything you like (matchbook, pen, ashtray, bar napkin, etc.).

►Royalistic:
One of the best card routines you will ever do!
You freely display a mediocre Poker hand with blue (or red) backs. You square the cards, make a magical gesture (if you like) and immediately show that the five cards changed into the best possible Poker hand–A Royal Flush. For an unbelievable ending you now turn the cards face down to show that each card has a different back.

►Synaptic:
As in most autonomous electronic routines you will need to remember the procedures that are required to use them, and you will need to practice the simple actions that accomplish the routines (in this case pressing buttons). Once that is mastered the Synaptic will deliver the information to you. The Synaptic gimmick is a small hand-held electronic device that rests in finger palm and communicates with you using vibrations.
There are many routines taught but learning and mastering one of them first is the best way to start. These are impossible routines that require no props. You can see some of them on the trailer. Many of the routines are also structured to make you seem like a super genius.

►Neutrino:
You begin with a twelve-piece puzzle that is made of heavy half-inch, stainless-steel pieces. You and your friend assemble the pieces into a solid, impenetrable block that is around the size of a deck of cards.
The block is slid into an examinable heavy-plastic case that has a slit running through it. You then insert a playing card right through the slit and the stainless-steel block that was just built. The card is moved around and even inserted lengthwise! Once your friend removes the card from the block the puzzle is removed from its case and all the pieces are separated showing the impossibility that was just created.
