A side effect of being a collector/hoarder is to become an accumulator. I mentioned many times that I collect finger choppers, along the way I started to accumulate larger props that mutilate arms, I even designed my own steampunk torture looking device that I never had made.

I don’t think there is a name for these types of collections. For now, let’s call them “Arm Mutilators, or Arm Slicers, or Arm Piercers.” You can see my small accumulation in the above photo.
When a recent one came on the market, I had to get one for me and all I could get at the time for you. It’s a fun item you can do to yourself or to an assistant. They took many of the improvements from previous versions and added one very clever thing to the method that allows you to show the prop on all sides before and after the performance. I like it.
I am also introducing the last of the exclusive items I picked up at Magic Live! and I just received another shipment of Crazy Eyes.
►Arm Apart:
This is likely the best and easiest version of this one-person illusion for the price.
You show an empty box/tube and place your arm inside so your fingers can be seen on the open end of the box and the opening in the middle.
You then show two metal blades and when you place the arm inside the box this time you insert the two solid blades in the middle, apparently slicing the arm in half.
The box is now opened to show that the arm really appears to be cut in half. An impossible looking illusion.
The box is then closed, the blades removed, and the arm is restored and unharmed.

►Spread The Love:
You get two sets of LOVE cards that are printed on Red Bicycle stock. One set says the word LOVE with one letter on each card and the other set is the four Aces with one of the indexes spelling LOVE instead of the ace pips.
You can use these cards for many different routines of your own or learn the Travelers that is taught in the tutorial.

►Crazy Eyes II:
A great packet trick by Jack Carpenter and Jamie Masterson that has many surprises that gradually lead to an unexpected ending that will fool and entertain.
You begin by talking about the famous Gorilla Experiment video where players pass around a basketball and watchers are asked to count the number of times the ball is passed. After watching the video people are surprised to find that they did not see a large gorilla walk through the players, pound his chest and then walk off. You then explain that the video was a research project on “Inattentional Blindness” and you will try to replicate the experiment with playing cards.

►A MYMAGIC EXCLUSIVE:
►Neutrino:
A Precision Penetration Puzzle that is made of stainless steel. Self-working and can be done surrounded.
You begin with a twelve-piece puzzle that is made of heavy half-inch, stainless-steel pieces. You and your friend assemble the pieces into a solid, impenetrable block that is around the size of a deck of cards.
The block is slid into an examinable heavy-plastic case that has a slit running through it. You then insert a playing card right through the slit and the stainless-steel block that was just built. The card is moved around and even inserted lengthwise! Once your friend removes the card from the block the puzzle is removed from its case and all the pieces are separated showing the impossibility that was just created.

PS: You probably noticed that I often re-edit most trailers by other companies to remove fantasies whenever possible. One minor thing in the Arm Apart trailer I could not fix was that after showing your arm inside you do have to remove it and put it back in. Which is no big deal.
“Collecting can be surprisingly inexpensive, especially if one seeks items before their widespread scarcity disappears or insatiable desirability enters.”
