Since the Wednesday night newsletter readers are often different from the Saturday morning readers, I wanted to reintroduce my WOW 7 Book Test.
I am very proud of the Kreskin edition of the book test, and I explained why in Saturday’s newsletter: HERE
There is a popular saying that you die three times: when your body gives up, at your funeral, and in the future when your name is spoken for the last time. My ulterior motive for releasing WOW 7 is to force you to mention Kreskin’s name every time you perform it.
I am also introducing you to a download with the three routines that made David Roth the legend that he turned out to be. The first two routines are ones that he performed on TV all over the world and the third is the one that helped launch his career. But don’t take my word for it. ►WOW 7: Kreskin Edition:
This is a very limited The Amazing Kreskin Edition that includes two books from his personal inventory.
It is an ideal way to present a mentalism routine while discussing the most famous mentalist in history and justifying the use of the two hardcover books.
While on stage you mention that you would like to try an experiment in mind reading. You introduce two hardcover books by the most famous mentalist in history, The Amazing Kreskin. You select a spectator and have them select one of the two books (free choice). Have them look through the book and tell you how many pages it has.
A second spectator is now asked to name any page number in the book (free choice). The first spectator now turns to the selected page and concentrates on the first word on that page.
You now read the spectator’s mind and write down the word they are thinking of. Ask them to yell out the word they are thinking of, then show the audience the word you wrote. They match.
But it is not over yet. As an afterthought have the spectator think of the last word on that page. You can now proceed to dramatically spell out the thought of word for a double miracle.

►Roth’s Classic Coin Routines:
David Roth took the magic world by storm when he came on the scene with his long form coin routines. The three routines that he opened his early shows and lectures with and the ones he originally gained his reputation with were Winged Silver, Chink-A-Chink, and Hanging Coins. All three are performed and taught here. As a special bonus you also get a masterclass on how to effectively use his Shuttle Pass.
Techniques explained include: Shuttle Pass, Classic Palm, Edge Grip Concealment, Utility Switch, and Curl Palm.

►BACK IN STOCK:
With my recent shipment from Hungary, I also received a few more of Astor’s Pocked Slot Machines. It is a very clever and easy way to force anyone of twelve images on the plastic revolving dial. I like it…that is why I made my own trailer for it.
►Pocket Slot Machine:
This is a neat, nicely made plastic prop whose outer layer can turn. The basic routine is very simple.
A spectator thinks of one of the numbers in the inner disc and turns the outer disc that many times to see what slot machine symbol they arrive at.
You can immediately read their mind and tell them the symbol they are thinking of even though your back was turned. You can even do this while you walk away to another room. Everything is examinable, self-working, and it can be immediately repeated.
Instead of reading their mind you can also make a prediction before they even think of a number.

PS: The routine that I have closed my stage shows with for more than 15 years, and some close-up shows even before then was supposed to be released in April but they are very labor intensive to make, and nobody wanted to do the work. It looks like I found a company, and they could be out later this month. Although I don’t have a price quote yet, so it may end up being too expensive to market.
