Using his special Dual Position magnetic system Ted Bogusta has been creating some innovative new routines and gimmicks.
The reason most of the triple split coin sets that you can buy elsewhere, are used for fingertip, chest level, coin routines is that it is impossible to lay them flat on your hand or put them on a table without the magnets moving them or squaring them up.
The Dual Position system allows you to lay the coins on your palm, so they overlap without snapping together. This allows you to do some previously impossible sequences and simplifies existing routines.
The first Dual Position custom set he decided to release is his take on the Silver and Two Coppers classic. These are all hand-made and are available in limited quantities. As usual, all our coin sets use real coins. Not counterfeits.
►Dual Position Copper Silver Copper:
Connie Haden’s original Silver And Two Copper Transposition is a classic of coin magic which sparked hundreds of variations and handlings. This new gimmicked version designed by Ted Bogusta is likely the best.
What Ted did was take the classic set of coins and infused them with his DPS (Dual Position Magnetic System). The custom magnetic system allows you to do all the basic and classic routines plus many more displays and sequences that were never possible before.
The set includes a DPS set with a Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar, an East African ten cent coin, an Australian penny, and the three matching coins so everything can be handed out for examination at the end. All the coins are real.

The response to Dr. Michael Rubinstein’s R.O.P.S. Revolution has been great and I wanted to remind you that the special introductory price will expire on Wednesday.
►R.O.P.S. Revolution:
The R.O.P.S. move (Retention Open Palm Steal) is an extremely easy yet deceptive coin vanish you can learn in a few minutes and master in a few hours of practice. It does not use any difficult sleight-of-hand… just a simple combination of choreography and timing.
This is the most comprehensive tutorial ever offered about this move and is full of valuable new tips that will make learning it as easy as possible and mastering it as quickly as possible.
At its core you will be able to show a coin on your palm, tap it with your finger as you close your hand into a fist, and when you open your hand, the coin has vanished. This can be repeated throughout a routine without any worry about being caught.
In addition to the vanish you will also learn how to use the move as a click pass and even use it to vanish more than one coin at the same time.

►Brain Bogglers:
For many years Meir Yedid has been opening his stage, parlor, and formal close-up shows with a series of three optical illusions/brain twisters where he explains how magic works. The premise is that we tell you the truth, but your brain lies to you.
The three optical illusions/brain twisters are the standard Word Skipping Illusion, Cornsweet Illusion, and Thatcher illusion, although they have been modified to optimize the live presentations and make them more interesting. Suitable for close-up, parlor, and stage. They are also ideal for speakers and emcees.

►BACK IN STOCK:
Two of the recently sold-out books are back in stock. This is the second printing of John Bannon’s latest book whose first printing was gone before his many fans could scoop it up. The second book is one that is full of valuable advice for people who want to perform comedy magic.
I also just received a small shipment of the hand-made Obake coins which have continuously sold out for the past few months.
►Obake Quarter Set:
Kries is best known for his exceptionally powerful magnetic coins that can be used for some incredible seeming magic. The coins are so strong that they can attract each other through your hand, a deck of cards, or even through most tables.
“Obake” means ghost in Japanese, and this “ghost” coins set allows you to do some clean and impossible looking routines that cannot be done with other similar gimmicks.
The set includes two super magnetic quarters and a matching expanded shell that are made using real US Quarters.

►Very Hush Hush:
John Bannon’s latest book features forty card tricks with a “mental” slant that require little to no sleight-of-hand.
In five large chapters, John explores impossible location effects (including some that can be performed over Zoom), prediction tricks with and without multiple revelation procedures, and performance pieces with a mental magic/mindreading theme, among other cunning card effects in the miracle class.
Along the way, you’ll learn a host of helpful sleights and subtleties, including false cuts and shuffles, switches, and other moves. And while there is no real finger-flinging required, yes, you still have to practice.

►Thoughts On Performing Comedy Magic:
This is a terrific book full of practical advice on how to do comedy magic. Then nine chapters are filled with the secrets, professional advice, and war stories about the art of performing comedy magic. If you ever wanted to be funny while performing magic, this is the book for you.
And many more hard-won secrets to comedy magic like how to handle audience members, performance tips, taking advantage of spontaneous moments, hecklers, running gags, local humor, writing your thoughts, reading the crowd, show notes, and so much more.

“The art of magic, or conjuring as it is more properly called, is much more than just a pleasant hobby. It develops an effective speaking ability, builds a nimble wit and sometimes ‘pays off’ handsomely in a financial way.”
…David Robbins (Practical Magic, 1953)
