Many years ago, I released my Dunes Day Prophecy. It was my solution to the classic three out routine that has had many variations. My goal was to have a version that was completely self-contained and that can be intelligently presented to adults.
I came up with a casino theme based on the Dunes where I used to watch Daniel Cros perform in Las Vegas. It was the tenth strip casino built and was the most watched implosion in history. It is also where the Bellagio sits now.
But a trick with three outs needs a presentation that will make it seem compelling and not one where there was a 33% chance of success.
The presentation I came up with can be seen on the trailer. There is one line at the end I did not put on the trailer. It is, “Before you select your chip keep one thing in mind. The way I described them, evil people pick the $100 chip, average people pick the $25 chip, nice people pick the $5 chip, could have been my way to influence your choice.”
That line also subtly influences many laypeople to select the red chip which is my favorite of the three outs.
Interestingly, the first phone call I got after releasing the routine was from Kreskin who said that the psychological angle of the presentation was great, and he liked it very much.
The routine sold-out multiple times over the years. I was recently able to manufacture a few more and you can get one now.
►Dunes Day Prophecy:
A topical and engaging routine that fools laypeople!
You show three poker chips from the famed Dunes Casino in Las Vegas which at one time was the most luxurious hotel in the world, where all of the greatest performers appeared.
A spectator freely selects one of the poker chips which you have previously predicted with 100% accuracy.

►BACK IN STOCK:
You probably figured out by now that I am very fond of routines with multiple outs. The best multiple out envelope I have seen was Blake Vogt’s and I just got a few more for you. It is an innocent looking four-out envelope.
►Number 4 Envelope:
This is an ingeniously constructed four-way-out envelope using an origami type fold that allows it to handle very cleanly and fairly.
The four compartments can be easily opened from the four sides of the envelope and each side can hold one or more playing cards.
Depending on which way you start to open the envelope you can hand it to your spectator to remove the card or small object.
