Gary Haun “The Great Haundini” who Muhammad Ali praised, “You are a real magician,” is featured in the July issue of Accent on Living. “Abracadabra,” the annual magic show at the Cincinnati Playhouse announced that this year in addition to the six shows on Aug. 16-19 they will also have AbraKIDabra magic workshops beginning on Aug. 11 where children will be taught magic and then treated to a show by a local magician. The events will also include special performances, parties, and meal packages. Tom Mullica’s Red Skelton Tribute which opened at the Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs is reviewed in a Sun-Sentinel article where Mullica is described as, From the moment Mullica walks onto a small stage adorned with two hanging murals of Skelton, it’s apparent that the beloved jester left his legacy in good hands. Lance Burton celebrated his fifth anniversary show “Lance Burton: Master Magician” at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Jun. 21. The show opened on Jun. 21, 1996 with a 13-year contract worth $100 million. Burton’s family oriented illusion show continues to win many awards as well as ranking very high in newspaper and magazine surveys.
