One of the things I picked up from Alakazam at Magic Live was the new Shadow Wallet version 2 which has major advances and improvements over the original. They swore me to not mention it or release it until they did their launch, which was a few of days ago.

Getting a bunch was a no-brainer. When they showed me the new peek system, I thought it was one of those electronic ones, it looked so good and so simple. They laughed at me and showed me how it worked. All you seemingly do is tap the screen and it exposes what is inside. Another tap and it goes out of view.

The new version also has an index system built in. I used to do the Larry Becker named animal routine and he even gave me permission to market it, which I didn’t since someone else put out a similar wallet as the one Roy Roth used to make for him. I think I am going to start doing it again using this slim wallet.

I am also introducing you to a new download by Michael Rubinstein. It is a quick triple spellbound whose ending surprised me. I think it would do the same to you.

►Shadow Wallet 2:

Major improvements over the original. It is an excellent minimalist leather wallet with hidden peek and index systems.

At its heart is a peek system that feels almost impossible. The first time you experience it, you’ll be convinced there’s some form of electronic technology at work. There isn’t. No batteries. No electronics.

Instead, it is an ingenious mechanical system that allows you to effectively switch the peek on and off whenever you wish, with a tap of your finger. When you need access to the information, it’s there in full view. When you don’t, it disappears completely. No awkward handling. No privacy screens. No angle concerns. Just a beautifully deceptive solution that feels as impossible as it is practical.

Built into the wallet is also an indexing system with twelve compartments. This makes it ideal for performers who require fast and reliable access to multiple outs.

►Triple EG Spell:

This is a beautiful, surprising, visual, and quick triple spellbound sequence.

You begin showing a Half Dollar, it visually changes into an English penny and instantly changes into a Chinese coin which you can immediately hand out for examination or as a souvenir.

Uses three regular coins (as long as they are the same size) and two sleights. Sleights used are the Curl Palm and the Edge Grip. Ideal position for the audience will be in front of you.

►BACK IN STOCK:

Whenever I am near Alakazam I usually get all the remaining stock of their “What Happens In Vegas” card routine. It is one of my two favorite card releases of theirs. As usual they only had a few left, and some who signed up for notifications grabbed around half of those.

►What Happens In Vegas:

You show a deck of cards whose backs represent many of the current and past casinos in Las Vegas and shake the card box explaining that it has a prediction inside.

As you deal cards down on the table a spectator is stops you at any casino back and that card is placed aside. You then turn the deck over and start dealing cards face up in a pile and the spectator stops you at any card. So, a freely selected casino and card are now in front of you.

You open the card box and dump out a Poker chip that has a casino logo on one side and a playing card on the other. Neither of which matches the selections.

But when you turn over the two freely selected cards, they are seen to match your prediction with both the playing card face and the casino back. (Or you can turn over the cards during the routine as seen on the trailer for a much stronger effect).

►Sword Illusion ProCase:

The Magic Sword Illusion is arguably one of the best and most deceptive illusions in magic. It creates an impossible illusion of a knife repeatedly penetrating through a toothpick or any such object. It is truly a mind-boggling illusion that seems impossible even after you know how it works.

The idea was to create a case for it, so it looks less like a toy and more like an interesting oddity.
