My, I Lose It, You Find It routine, is one I am proud of and one I have used for many years. When Harry Lorayne first saw me do it, he immediately wanted to publish it in Apocalypse. But I held out. I told him that he could only have it if he first published two of my sandwich handlings first. So, it became a three-issue feature.
Although I know a few people who adapted parts of it, I don’t know anyone who performs it. It might be because of the forgettable name Harry gave it, or that I am the only person on the planet that likes the effect, sequences, handling, and methods involved. Watch the demo and decide for yourself.
I also just received a small shipment of Joe Hernandez’ new book about Houdini. It is full of thousands of fun and interesting trivia that you will love to go through. Have been fascinated by the information he discovered. It is educational and inspiring too!
►I Lose It, You Find It:
This is a multiphase impromptu card routine Meir has been performing and refining for many years.
You begin by having your friends name any picture card and color (free choice). Let’s say they name the two red Queens. You remove the two Queens from the deck and place them on the table back-to-back. A card this then freely selected (and signed, if you like) and placed between the two Queens. The three-card packet is then placed between your palms and when you let the Queens flutter to the table everyone is surprised to see that the selected card vanished.
You let your friends help you find the card by losing one face up Queen into the center of the deck and letting them cut the second Queen anywhere they like.
When the deck is now spread face down the two Queens are seen to have moved next to each other with one face down card between them… It is the selection… everything can be examined.

►BACK IN STOCK:
Was surprised by the delivery of a few more Holesome Coins sets. I don’t think I have to say much about how much I like these since I carry them with me every time I go out.
Also received a few more of these tiny electronic devices that can sense where magnets are hidden. Read what I originally wrote about them: HERE
►Holesome Coins: Japanese Edition:
The basic routine involves three coins. A Japanese coin with a hole in it, a small African coin with a hole in it, and a Walking Liberty silver half dollar. The first phase begins with an impossible single coin transposition, followed by an even more impossible two for one coin transposition, with a final phase where the silver coin jumps back from your pocket, is used to vanish the two other coins, and can be handed out for examination.
Comes complete with a special set of gimmicked coins, matching regular coins, and access to the online video tutorials and as a special bonus you will get an additional tutorial by Meir Yedid.

►Espionage:
One of the best “which hand” electronic devices, it is the smallest, and most reliable. At its core It is a magnet detector, so it can be used to find any item that can have a magnet imbedded in it.
While the best psychic in the world can only guess whether a coin is in someone’s left or right hand 50% of the time, Espionage grants you the ability any psychic would desire. It allows you to not only determine the audience’s choice, but also information they themselves are unaware of! They choose which hand to hide the coin behind their back, and you can pinpoint its location and whether it’s heads or tails-even the spectators won’t know!

Stay happy, Meir
PS: Had a killer show to start the new year, where some of my minor tweaks took shape. Simple things like a more accessible placement of the props, and more deliberate movements on stage to relay intimacy and immediacy.
