While having lunch with Michael Rubinstein last week he showed me the prototype of his upcoming release, which I think is beautiful, fooling, commercial, and very easy. I hope to have some in time for the 4F Convention next month.
The main reason for our lunch was the delivery of his new Conviction Prediction 2.0. The original became very popular, getting great reviews and selling very well. Since that time Michael has been tweaking the routine, adding a new prop, and streamlining the method and handling. It is now more direct; you no longer need to be going into your pocket during the routine. It can also be done standing and the best part is that it easily resets if you want to repeat it while doing walkaround, and as before everything is examinable at the end.
But unlike most 2.0 updates, Michael decided to also make a 2.0 Upgrade Kit for a fraction of the cost. So, if you already purchased the original Conviction Prediction you can just get all the new props involved and access to the new tutorial.
►Conviction Prediction 2.0:
The original Conviction Prediction became so popular that Michael kept working on it and streamlining the method and handling. This new 2.0 version creates the same effect but now it automatically resets for repeat performances, easy to carry in a leather wallet, and can easily be done standing.
If you purchased the original version, you could get an upgrade kit that includes the necessary added props and access to the new tutorial.
What makes this special is the delayed ending which comes completely unexpectedly, and since none of the props are gimmicked and only one simple sleight is used everything is examinable at the end.

Just received a few more copies of the fast-selling Jim Sisti booklet. Since reading the book I have been obsessed with the principle used in the first trick. I have been experimenting with many ideas so far and will eventually find the one I like best. You never know, Jim and I might end up releasing it as a download one day.
►Bits & Pieces:
Subtitled as “Assorted Commercial Close-Up Magic” it features some of the best routines that Jim Sisti uses during his professional work. Jim is a professional, full-time magician who specializes in intimate close-up and restaurant magic. He has been earning a living with some of these routines for more than thirty-five years. Best known as the publisher of the long running The Magic Menu magazine, when he speaks working pros listen.
Routines include: Mixed Symbols, Jazzy Transposition 2, Grandpa’s Fruit Knives, Working Professional’s Ambitious Card, Working Professional’s Chop Cup, Working Professional’s Card To Forehead, and Comedy Card In Frame.

►BACK IN STOCK:
During my lunch with Michael, he also delivered some more of the Hand routines he performed on Fool-Us.
►The Other Hand:
Dr. Michael Rubinstein performed “The Other Hand,” his new coin plot, on season nine of Penn & Teller: Fool-Us. You saw him perform a five-minute showpiece.
After recording the formal TV version of the routine, he decided to continue refining the routine and eventually created a close-up version that is shorter, more direct, and easier to do. The new close-up version uses the same props but is streamlined for more intimate performances.
Since the props involved are difficult to put together, he decided to release a limited edition for serious coin magicians and collectors.
