I remember when David Copperfield performed Misled on one of his specials. It was at a time when all magicians tuned in to watch. It was basically a national commercial viewed by millions!
It instantly became a huge seller that all the magicians had to have (including me). The original used a pencil. I also remember that many of the New York Magicians started making their own gimmicks for Bic Pens using easily available plastic tubing. This new release uses a custom manufactured gimmick that comes with a matching pen so you can do that routine with a more natural prop (do young people even know what a pencil is?).
►Misled Pen:
One of the most iconic solid-through-solid illusions ever broadcast was Misled performed by David Copperfield. A pencil pierced a borrowed dollar bill—not once, but twice—then left the bill completely unharmed. The audience was stunned.
Misled Pen by Timothy Wenk transforms the original miracle into a sleek, modern performance with a ballpoint pen.
Here’s what happens: A borrowed (and even signed) bill is cleanly penetrated by a pen—right before their eyes. In the second phase, the bill is wrapped around the pen, and with no warning, it melts straight through the center. The bill is unharmed. The pen can be examined.

The book I wrote about (HERE) immediately sold-out last week but I managed to get a few more copies. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
►Impossibilia:
The perfect gift for those who love puzzles, problem solving, and curious creations, and an ideal introduction to this mysterious world of impossible objects.
“Why do certain objects have an extraordinary ability to fascinate us and spark wonder, while others do not?”
This coffee-table book studies the genesis, history, development, and modern-day mania surrounding objects that interrupt the logical mind and confound the senses. These impossible objects he has dubbed impossiblia.
Readers will journey through the lands and minds of great artists, puzzle makers, ship-in-bottle builders, optical illusion designers, craftsmen, magicians, and creative problem solvers.
From the work and methods of M.C. Escher to the godfather of impossible bottles, Harry Eng, Impossiblia traces the origins of this super-secret and wildly popular subculture in a way no author has before.

►LATEST MY MAGIC RELEASE:
►Printing On Demand:
This is one of David Solomon’s favorite packet tricks. It full of visual transformations and multiple climaxes.
Themed around how everything is now being printed on demand… even playing cards. You place a blank Bicycle card to one side.
You then show four Jokers with blank backs. One by one you print four different colorful backs on them. After the four backs are printed, you magically cause all the Joker faces to vanish, leaving you with four blank cards with different backs. As a surprise ending, the blank card you placed aside at the beginning now has all four Jokers.

►BACK IN STOCK:
Just received two of John Bannon’s books that have been out of stock for a while. For Bannon fans nothing else needs to be said. For everything Bannon go: HERE
►Very Hush-Hush:
In five large chapters, John explores impossible location effects (including some that can be performed over Zoom), prediction tricks with and without multiple revelation procedures, and performance pieces with a mental magic/mindreading theme, among other cunning card effects in the miracle class.
Along the way, you’ll learn a host of helpful sleights and subtleties, including false cuts and shuffles, switches, and other moves. And while there is no real finger-flinging required, yes, you still have to practice.

►Destination Zero:
John Bannon presents twenty-five new self-working card routines. Not your typical non-sleight-of-hand tricks, Bannon has thoroughly analyzed these effects and backed up subtle principles with the careful, layered construction he is known for.
Anyone can cobble together a couple of principles and call it a “trick.” Bannon looks for synergies and leverages the method as much as possible. His objective: “One plus one should equal three—or more. Otherwise, why bother”
All with regular cards, without gaffs, crimps, pencil dots, “punches,” or marks. These highly-refined constructions will change the way you think about self-working card magic.

►eBay Auctions:
I keep adding more books to my eBay auctions. At the moment there are more than 70 items at auction and more than 300 items in my eBay store.
I am purposely only writing basic Info on the books with pertinent photos because I believe that all of you would recognize their value to you. No hype. As Sy Syms to say in his ads, “An educated consumer is our best customer.” Maybe that’s why I have fewer customers compared to my competitors?

“The chief aim of the magician is to deceive; to create and perform effects before an audience in such a way as to appear to have contravened the laws of nature.”
