Today I will introduce you to two spectacular decks of cards that I tracked down in order to sell at the upcoming Collector’s Expo but thought I should offer them to you (my loyal friends and customers) first.

Since these decks are getting close to becoming extinct, I thought it would be nice if you got to see the 106 magicians that are represented throughout the cards. Take a look at the trailer: HERE

►Angel Idígoras Playing Card Set:

Angel Idígoras is an established artist from Spain who created color caricatures of magicians past and present. 106 of his caricatures were printed on the faces of two limited edition decks of cards by the Fournier Playing Card Company. The backs of the cards are all one-way and each deck includes a double backer.

This is David Solomon’s first book. It features more than forty of his original card routines and dozens of the techniques used within those routines. It is full of novel handlings and ideas that you will be able to apply to other card effects in your repertoire.

A nice feature of the book is Eugene Burger’s input on the routines and the many insightful interviews with David about the magicians he grew up with in the Chicago area, and the stormy controversies that developed.

►Magician’s Daydream:

This is a quick rope routine that you can use as a segway between effects or as an Emcee interlude.

You display three lengths of red rope, a short, a medium, and a long. You then pull the ropes as they visually become the same length. You then magically turn the three equal lengths of rope into one long rope.
