Meir’s Muses
MyMagic eNewsletter #784
October 2, 2019
Have been practicing a lot this week, mostly card stuff, next week will start rehearsing the material. Around 20 different routines. Will tell you more about that project in around a week.
Over the past few years Sara Crasson has appeared at magic conventions, written columns in magic magazines, and even became a regional vice president of the SAM. Her passion for magic along with her law degree have made her a leading authority in the field of intellectual property rights for magicians and magic creators.
As you are reading this, assuming it just arrived in your mailbox, Sara is about to lecture at the Genii Convention in Florida. The talk is based around her new book: Own Your Magic: A Magician’s Guide to Protecting Your Intellectual Property.
The book will go on sale after the lecture. But you can get it now. Sara autographed some copies and allowed me to offer it to you first.
Own Your Magic:
The book is a comprehensive guide to protecting your rights as a magician and everything that revolves around magic, you will find out what can and cannot be protected, how to protect things and why. It is a 143-page paperback that is written in a style I can understand. Oh, and David Copperfield wrote the Foreword.

Tenyo Four Nightmares:
I just received a small shipment of the Tenyo rope routine I was raving about a few months ago, that sold out several times since then.
Since I first offered it, I was able to add a few things that make it a better product. I was able to license Daisuke Seo’s video tutorial which will allow you to actually learn it. Along with the original Japanese instructions you will now get a pdf with English instructions.
Both the video and pdf will appear in your media library as soon as you finalize the purchase. If you bought it from me in the past you should be able to find the video and pdf in your account.
Watch & Buy: HERE.
TrickTown:
My October TrickTown column in Rivertown Magazine came out this week. I wrote about Houdini, Halloween, and the upcoming shows in Piermont. I also teach a handkerchief rope escape. I simplified the handling so any layperson could learn it. It appears on pages 142 and 143.
You can read it online or download a pdf copy: HERE.
Catch Me & Win:
This routine is doing much better than I expected. There are only seven left, at the moment, from the second run. Everyone involved will be starting on the third run next week. Get one now, get one: HERE.
