One of the routines I received from the David Solomon estate was his Hocus Poker. I never saw anyone perform this routine, not even David, so I decided to learn it. I was surprised at how good it was. I think the reason nobody does it or is even aware of it, is because of the packaging and the original ad copy. It is also difficult to visualize how good it is from reading the instructions.
So of course I had to do my own trailer for it, using a presentation that fits me. I think once you see the routine performed you will be able to easily learn how to do it. Take a look: HERE
David had a big box full of these pre-packaged routines with custom Bicycle cards that come in a plastic wallet. Since I have so many of them, I am able to discount them for a ridiculously low price.
►Hocus Poker:
This is the first time the routine has been performed on video. Meir Yedid uses the exact handling that is taught… the only thing he changed was the presentation. Once you see what the routine looks like you will likely want to learn it.
The basic routine involves a contest between two card cheaters. Each gets the same hand “Aces & Eights” which is also known as the “Dead Man’s Hand.”
Using that hand they try to outcheat each other. The first cheater changes their hand to the four Aces! The second cheater changes their hand into a Straight Flush! As a finale the first cheater changes their hand into a Royal Flush!

Below you will also find another set of David’s lecture notes. I have very few of these available. Although most of his notes contained some new material and versions, they also contained repeats of his favorite routines to teach.
►Solomon’s Blackpool Notes:
David Solomon continuously changed his lectures based on where he was lecturing. He included his latest and favorite routines, improved versions of previous routines, as well as the stuff he was currently playing with.
Routines include: Business Card Prediction, Just Friends, Jamesway Poker, Royal Mayo, Marlo/Gardner/Britland Poker Deal, Blank Thought, Revised Mexican Poker, and SolMar Ace Assembly Updated.

I also received a few more to David Solomon’s Time Warp Wallet and I have very few copies of the books left. See below.
►Time Warp Wallet:
The main routine has you name your favorite card and your friend name any other card. Your card is lost anywhere in the deck as you attempt to cut to it. You cut to a card which you claim is your favorite, place it in the wallet as you remove some money. You then offer your friend the opportunity to win the money if they can cut to their card. Of course, they can’t, and you then explain why.
When the wallet is opened you show that the card you placed inside was your favorite card and the card that was behind a clear window the entire time was their freely named card.

►Time Warp Wallet Book:
This book was originally printed to accompany David Solomon’s Time Warp Wallet that was a very limited release that sold-out very fast.
After being out of stock for many years David sold the manufacturing rights to a company in China who released an excellent quality version with a video tutorial that includes all the tricks in the book. However, the book does contain more details and credits, and if you already own the wallet, you should get this as well.

►LATEST MYMAGIC RELEASE:
►Coin Clip:
Christian Scherer redesigned the original Slydini Coin Clip in the 1980s, to make it much easier to handle and the perfect size for four half dollars. It also allows for more natural handlings.
The video tutorial is the most comprehensive treatise on the subject ever presented. It includes many of the common methods as well as little known applications for close-up and stage. Subjects include: Coin Insertions (7 methods), Hand Steals (6 methods), Hand To Hand Toss, Lapping (4 methods), Almost Perfect Vanish, Sleeving (2 methods), Topit, NOW-U-IT Vanish, Pull (3 methods), Pendulum Principle/Upside-Down Topit (2 Methods), Baby Bottle Nipple, Silly Putty, and much more.

“I try to handle the cards as naturally as possible. I think that one of the major differences between Marlo’s and Vernon’s handling of cards was that Marlo was tighter and less natural than Vernon.”
