MyMagic eNewsletter #752
May 1, 2019
I spent the last week in Batavia, New York which is commonly referred to as, “The Arm Pit of The World.” OK, Maybe I am the only one who refers to it that way, and it is getting a little better every year… Although there is no excuse for the MacDonald’s breakfast sandwich to be smothered with Mayonnaise. Disgusting!
The annual pilgrimage has been going on for 49 years now, where some of the best close-up magicians in the world gather to show-off and share the latest trends, routines and techniques.
I actually spent a small fortune buying many new routines that you will be introduced to over the next few weeks. Since I just got home and have not been able to unpack and organize yet, this newsletter will mostly list the items that I have sold in the past and were delivered to me at the convention and some of the exclusives I have left.
Quentin Reynold’s agreed to fill his luggage with two of the items that have been continuously selling out.
Is a matter of fact, I have not mentioned the last shipment of his Confabulating Confabulation because it sold out as soon as I added it to the website to the magicians who have been using the “Notify Me” feature on the site.
►Get Confabulating Confabulation: HERE.
►Get Bring Back The Schtick: HERE.
You should also consider getting his fantastic Five Minutes with a Pocket Handkerchief: HERE.
Rich Marotta also met me at the 4F Convention and delivered a few more of his hysterical Mugged routine. It is a “go to” routine that many comedy magicians use on stage since it has built in humor and magic.
►Get Mugged: HERE.
I have a few of the new Quiver Plus change/switching purses in stock now. I think there are only around eight left at the moment.
►Get Quiver Plus: HERE.
Before leaving for Fechter’s and MAWNY I was able to convince Ted Bogusta to make me a bunch of his unique coin gaffs. I have a few items left that might interest you:
►Dual Position Triple Split Morgan Set:
I love this magnetic triple split coin set because of the ingenious magnetic system Ted came up with that allows the magnetic coins to be placed in a spectator’s hand or on a table while the coins are overlapped without the magnets aligning them as in most sets. This opens up many more possibilities with magnetic coins. And as always all of the coins we carry are made of real coins. Silver Morgans in this case.
Get it: HERE.
►Dual Position Triple Split Walking Liberty Set:
These are available for the very first time. They are the same as the Morgan sets except that they are made of real Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars. Once again, the Dual Position magnetic system is implemented so you can place the magnetic coins down without worry about them snapping together.
Get it: HERE.
►Silver Walking Liberty Scotch & Soda:
Himber’s Scotch & Soda is the single best-selling and most popular gaffed coin routine ever released. This set is identical in workings but uses real Silver Walking Liberty coins, real Mexican Centavos and comes with a brass bang ring. If you want to do magic with a high-quality coin set this is for you.
Get it: HERE.
►Silver Liberty Expanded Shell With 4-Matching Coins:
The title pretty much explains what you get here: Four Walking Liberty halves with a matching expanded shell. It may be time to upgrade from using the Kennedy Halves to a nicer set of coins. They are of similar quality and all the dates match.
Get it: HERE.
I should mention that the quantities I have of the above items is small and two of the items I was planning on having in this newsletter sold out earlier today.
I have many new items that are already at the warehouse or are on their way. These are items that most of you never knew existed. I am planning on pacing myself so nobody goes broke (like I did getting them), so at the moment I will likely release 1-3 items per week. Also, if you are one of the people who visits my booths, I have a couple of the Silver/Mirror thingies left. Email me if you want one.
Until next time,
Meir
