Some good news: I know that selling out of the exclusives I picked up at 4F is pissing some of you off… The good news is that I spoke to all the creators and I will be getting most of the items back throughout the coming week! Please sign up for notifications on the items that interested you. Not sure I can get any more of them this year.
The Gagnon books arrived yesterday and can be seen below.
It has turned into a ritual where Alexandra Duvivier brings me stuff from France that I can offer you. Some of it is to restock classics and some new stuff as well.
Below you will find her father’s work on the classic linking pins routine. Of interest is that if you ever wanted well made gimmicked pins, I think these are of excellent quality and very similar to the ones sold before the 1970s and 80s.
You will also find the routine she used to fool P&T, as well as the devious D. Deck.
►The Dark Room:
The Dark Room or “Epingles ou Chambre Noire” is Dominique’s Linking Safety Pins Routine.
The routine begins by letting someone examine and link two safety pins. You then separate the two pins by entering them into a dark room (your pocket).
You continue to link and unlink the two, then three pins until the finale where the two pins are permanently linked (soldered together) and handed out for inspection.

►C.I.B: Cards In Bag:
This is the routine that Alexandra Duvivier used to fool Penn & Teller on their “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” television series.
Instead of giving you a detailed description of the routine, please watch Alexandra perform it on the trailer above. Keep in mind that using the cards you are supplied with, you can perform it with any cards you like including the four Aces or a Royal Flush. It is also very easy to learn and perform.

►FFFF 2026 Lecture Notes:
Tom Gagnon was the guest of honor at the 2026 4F Magic Convention where he presented a new lecture and produced a special set of lecture notes for the event.
He describes what he included as, “The routines were developed over forty years and, once perfected, will arm you dear reader with some of the most deceptive and versatile tools possible with a deck of cards. I hope that its contents will serve as a comprehensive and inspirational source for those seeking to take their card magic to the next level.”

►Sleightly Original:
This is Tom Gagnon’s first book. Although he is well known as an expert card magician and illustrator, he started out specializing in coin magic. In addition to coins, some of the unique routines also employ cards, thumbtips, and folding coins.
More than twenty-five original routines and techniques are explained in four chapters titled: Thumb Tipping Quickies, Skullduggery, Hodgepodge, and Departures.

►MY LATEST RELEASE:
►Coin Copier:
This is an ingenious self-working coin box routine that Christian Scherer created in the 1980s. Since that time the manufacturing technology and the availability of the gimmicks used has advanced and the current version works perfectly.
The basic routine involves a metal box which is referred to as a tiny counterfeiting machine. You dump the four coins out of the box; a Japanese coin, a Swiss coin, a British coin and a US coin. Using the Japanese coin as a sample each coin is placed in the box and one at a time, as the box is waved over the Japanese coin, the coin inside instantly turns into a duplicate of the Japanese coin. This is repeated until all four coins have turned into Japanese coins and everything is examinable.

►D. Deck:
A very unique deck of gaffed cards was printed by the United States Playing Card Company to make this trick possible.
You think of a card and your spectator freely thinks of one. Both cards are removed from the deck. Amazingly when the rest of the deck is spread on the table all the other cards are seen to be blank. With the two thought-of cards being the only ones that are visible.
As a kicker ending a single card is then shown to have all the other cards printed on it.

“Unless you’re truly ready, don’t be in a hurry to start performing; if there is any doubt about your readiness, there’s nothing wrong with practicing for another few months just to be sure.”
