Conundrum is a new magic magazine out of Canada whose second issue was just released. But calling it a magazine diminishes what it really is. Of course it has excellent pro-quality magic, interviews, articles, advice, and most other things found in magic magazines (except ads).
I was able to get a few copies from Marc Trudel who, with his wife, are the editors and publishers and of course I got him to autograph all the copies.
Also picked up a few of Gaetan Bloom’s Linking Pins. These are the original DVD editions not the later release with downloads (will also include a link for those who no longer have a DVD player).
I am also introducing you to another of Dan Garrett’s lecture booklets below. This one is larger than the previous two. I plan to continue offering the introductory prices until I convert them into digital downloads… likely at the end of the year.
►Conundrum:
Conundrum is a bi-annual independent magazine for magicians. It aims to highlight the best magic and magicians. It is big, attractive, and feels like a book. Its pages are filled with interviews, profiles, tricks, discoveries, and creative inspiration.
Contributors include: Michel Huot, Eric Jones, Sophie-Anne, Lee Asher, Rosemary Reid, Wes Barker, Spidey, Medhat Hanbali, Bao Hoang, Martin Joyal, Amy Kimlat, and much more.

►Linking Pins:
Here is how Gaetan Bloom describes his routine: “It was the Master himself Slydini, who showed me this routine, a long time ago. The moves were completely magic, but the method forbade all examination. The night after, in a flash, a new handling came to me… I created a new gimmick which allows me to perform Slydini’s original routine the Golden Safety Pins without switching the pins at all… Also, the pins are now longer, showing off the different moves better: they are truly shown from every angle, are really closed, from start to finish and can be examined at the end… It is one of my favorite “babies”… Really!”

►Teasers And Ticklers:
Subtitled as “The Lecture – Book” and “A Lecture On Stand-Up Magic” it explains that Teasers & Ticklers encompasses a wide range of “platform magic” with something for every performer.
The reader will find diverse entertainments suitable for the magician who uses patter. There is also a silent musical routine for club or stage.
Here lies diversion for the adult audience the juvenile audience, or a mixture of both. It’s Rope Routines and Linking Rings, Animals, Balloons, some Crazy Things, Mentalism… A Sophisticated Trick, Plus Bits, Gags, and lots of “Schtick!”

I decided to continue the introductory sale prices on all of Dan Garrett’s magic until I am able to offer you many more of his tricks, books, and lecture notes.

►Thought of Card Across:
This is a very clean and direct looking thought of card across routine where you show ten black-faced and ten red-faced cards. A spectator mentally selects any of the black cards.
Without any fancy moves, the chosen card vanishes from the pack of black cards and shows up amongst the other pack of red cards as the only black card there.
Practically self-working and can be used on stage or for close-up.

►OUR LATEST RELEASE:
►Traits & Emotions:
This routine begins with having your friend think of any person that they know something about. It could be a friend, a relative, an acquaintance or someone famous.
You then show them ten cards which have a list of 100 different human characteristics. You have them find a characteristic that reminds them of the person they are thinking of.
After a little byplay you will know the word they are thinking of, and you can reveal it anyway you like.

PS: Thanx to everyone who flooded my social media pages with birthday wishes. Really appreciate it… because I don’t look at you as potential customers… but as friends!
“As far as good tips for young magicians or young female magicians, I would say the same things. When you’re really young, just learn as much as you can and have fun.”
