I purchased too many coin items in Vegas, so was thinking of spacing some card, close-up, and mentalism newsletters between them. I think you will be very happy with the two items and download below.
First is a download from my friend Vic Trabucco. Vic can be considered an underground treasure of card magic, meaning he is mostly known by the expert close-up magicians who visit him in Buffalo. He rarely travels outside the area and is a name you may not have heard of. He is also a world-renowned artist who specializes in glass and crystal works. But we are here to talk about his magic. Vic recently agreed to let me release some of his hundreds of creations as downloads. The first one features two ace productions with kicker endings. We thought we would start with something easy and impressive. Take a look: HERE
You will also find an outstanding packet trick by Jack Carpenter and Jamie Masterson which has more changes that you would assume possible using just five cards. And the multiple endings will really surprise you. I never saw them coming when I first saw it a few years ago. And it is being performed on the trailer by Jack Carpenter.
I was also recently able to acquire a small stash of Christian Scherer’s Card News. A book he released in the 1980s that features more than 40 original routines, techniques, and ideas.

Vic Trabucco was a regular performer at the original Forks Hotel under the tutelage of Eddie Fechter. Over the years he has created hundreds of routines and techniques with cards, coins, and other small objects. He has always stayed in the background, sharing his ideas with friends. He is very well known among the movers and shakers of close-up magic who specialize in sleight of hand.
This is one of his rare releases. Two outstanding, and easy Ace productions, both of which have a surprise kicker ending where they turn into the four Kings!

►Crazy Eyes II:
A great packet trick by Jack Carpenter and Jamie Masterson that has many surprises that gradually lead to an unexpected ending that will fool and entertain.
You start with a packet of five cards that has four Jokers and an Ace. The audience is asked to tell you what they just saw and you explain that there were actually two Aces in the packet and three Jokers. This is repeated until you end up with four Aces and a Joker.
You then explain that the “Inattentional Blindness” is so strong the very few people see the different colored backs on the Aces. The Aces are turned over and each one has a different brightly colored back. Finally, you ask if anyone saw the gorilla. When everyone says no, the final card is turned over and there is a large gorilla on it.

►Ali Bongo Wallet:
This is an easy-to-use wallet that can be used for various visual routines using paper money or similar sized objects.
You are taught three routines with it (as seen on the trailer). The routines vary from producing money, changing one bill into another, or even multiple changes. A nice feature in most of the versions is that you can remove the bills and hand them out at the end.
You can even do things like borrowing a twenty-dollar bill from someone and changing it into four fives. Many possibilities possible, paper to money, or even using it to ring in a gimmicked bill.

PS: Was very sad to hear of the passing of my old friend and the last of the legendary magicians who shaped close-up magic through the 1900s. Juan Tamariz (October 18, 1942-August 18, 2026) was a true legend and lifelong student of magic. Tamariz was larger than life and was able to steer every moment into a memorable event. I was recently reminded of the two TV spots I did with him in 1990. It was an incredible week of meals and parties with Lavand, Moretti, Blake, and Majax, and in our spare time we shot some TV shows.
