A frequent question I get asked is which marked deck I recommend for people with poor eyesight or ones that need to see the marks from across the table. This new deck may solve both issues after a few minutes of playing with it. Although, because of the black-on-black system it was very difficult for me to read in a dark restaurant.
The new North Star Black Marked Cards are very unique in that the markings are large and can be seen from a few feet away because they are always in plain view, but they can’t be seen unless you know what to look for. You will know the value and suit of every card.
But what makes them even more special are the bonuses that come with them. You currently get four pdfs explaining four routines by Mark Elsdon. Two of them are good and two of them are great. In my opinion they are worth more than the cost of the deck.
On the product page I photographed four of the cards for you to see, so you can figure out the markings. They are in the upper left and lower right and are around one inch in size.
I was also able to get a stash of matching red backed cards that are not marked.
►North Star Black Marked Cards:
What makes this deck even more special is the unique marking system which uses its design elements to hide the value and suit of the cards in plain sight. Once you get used to the markings you will be able to see them from a few feet away.
Includes a unique marking system which can be seen from a few feet away. Standard faces and custom Jacks, Queens, Kings, Aces, and Jokers, also includes a double backer, and three explanatory cards.
You also get access to an online video tutorial and four PDFs by Mark Elsdon where he reaches his: Trace Elements, Zing Coincidence, Subliminal, and A Long Name! You are also invited to join a private facebook group.

►The Long And Short Of It:
It is a self-contained routine with four brightly painted pieces of custom-crafted wood in an elegant burgundy sack. It is a complete performance piece packed with amazement and amusement. Laughs and gasps combine as pieces of wood appear to change size in ever more intriguing colorful combinations.
The theme of the routine can be tailored to one’s audience: A demonstration of audience hypnosis, a look at poor quality control, the reason you failed geometry, the power of suggestion, what happened when you tried to assemble that thing from IKEA, and even the techniques behind Classical Architecture (as seen in the trailer).

►Haunted Key Deluxe:
The Haunted Key is a classic of magic that is easy to do and is very mysterious to watch.
The basic routine starts with an examinable old key on the palm of your hand that starts to move and turn on its own. It is ungaffed and can be examined at any time.
This is an old looking silver oxidized colored metal key that is well weighted for the effect. It is around 4.5-inches long and the head is around 1.25-inches wide.

Bruce Bernstein has spent decades creating, refining and developing some of the most devious feats in mentalism. He’s become a trusted, go-to source for many of the greatest mind readers..
This book contains mysteries with the most basic of objects: slips of paper, cards, and money, as well as inexplicable feats of thought reading: predictions, mind reading feats, psychometry, utility techniques for obtaining secret information, cold reading scripts and techniques, and more. Ten new essays compliment the tricks themselves, each written specifically for this book.

►Meaningful Conjuring:
Ed Solomon, who was also known as DeNomolos, was a master storyteller who used magic to emphasize the point or moral of his stories. He wanted his magic to appeal to the intellect and touch the soul of his audiences, or as he put it: “People may not remember my name or the magic that I performed, but they will remember how it made them feel.”
Between 2004 and 2015 Ed wrote 125 columns in The Linking Ring magazine that featured short stories that used simple magic to highlight their messages. All those columns are included in this book along with some bonus tricks, essays, and more.
If you ever wanted to elevate your magic from just being a series of puzzles into meaningful moments of magic, this book may inspire you to think along those lines.
