MyMagic eNewsletter #1,395
April 26, 2026
Just got back from the 4F Convention in Buffalo and decided to write this newsletter before I go to sleep. Had lots of fun and got to hang out with some incredible magicians. My car is full of new magic that I was able to get for you. Stuff that you likely never knew existed and autographs you will likely not be able to get on your own.
The first item is an autographed copy of Ed Marlo Forty Years Later. I managed to get Randy Wakeman and Keven Kelly who wrote the book to autograph it along with Bill Malone who wrote the Foreword. A triple autograph by Marlo’s disciples!
Also back in stock is Dominique Duvivier’s Printing.
►Ed Marlo Forty Years Later:
Written completely from scratch by two people that intimately knew and studied under Ed Marlo — for more than fifteen years. You’ll find thirty-four complete routines, more than thirty-five sleights, moves, and subtleties.
These are rock-solid, audience tested and approved pieces that you will treasure. This is the first fresh look at Ed Marlo and his stunning card magic in over four decades. Ed Marlo 40 Years Later contains stories and information that you will not find anywhere else. Much of this treasured material has never been printed before. Much of this platinum Marlo material has never been properly or accurately described.

►Underhanded Open Travelers:
This is a reimagining of David’s Open Travelers where the cards vanish from your hand and appear under your friend’s palm.
You begin by cleanly showing the Ace through Four of Hearts. Your friend places their hand over the Ace while you make the Two vanish and appear under their hand.
This is repeated with the Three. The Four is placed face down in the middle of the deck and it too vanishes to join the Ace, Two, and Three of Hearts under your friend’s hand. All the cards under their hand are examinable.
The exact same routine can be performed with the cards traveling under impossible locations like under plates, napkins, wallets, phones, or any item larger than a playing card. You can also use the system to present the traditional Open Travelers.

►Coin Copier:
This is an ingenious self-working coin box routine that Christian Scherer created in the 1980s. Since that time the manufacturing technology and the availability of the gimmicks used has advanced and the current version works perfectly.
It is basically a coin box routine like no other. Even though it uses heavily gaffed coins everything is examinable at the end.
The basic routine involves a metal box which is referred to as a tiny counterfeiting machine. You dump the four coins out of the box; a Japanese coin, a Swiss coin, a British coin and a US coin. Using the Japanese coin as a sample each coin is placed in the box and one at a time, as the box is waved over the Japanese coin, the coin inside instantly turns into a duplicate of the Japanese coin. This is repeated until all four coins have turned into Japanese coins and everything is examinable.

►BACK IN STOCK:
My friend Alexandra Duvivier brought a bunch of stuff for me from her store in France. Some items I never knew existed. Before I start going through them, I can offer you an item that immediately sold-out last year. The classic and original Printing that was invented by her father.
►Printing:
The original Printing routine that Dominique Duvivier created in 1974 has become a classic and is considered the best version of the Wild Card Plot. In this new version he made some changes to the graphics and teaches both an easy and advanced handling.
The basic routine has you display four blue backed Tens (Clubs, Hearts, Spades and Diamonds) and four blue backed blank cards. One of the blank cards touches one of the 10s and prints an identical Ten on itself! From that moment on, a succession of effects start occurring: one card takes the color of your close-up mat, another one will lose its blue back, a third one will have a Ten printed on both sides, etc. You are going to magically print all the cards in a totally surrealistic way! Everything is examinable at the end.

Stay happy, Meir
PS: I ended up spending 6-7 times more money buying stuff for you than I actually made. I had to even make a run to a bank in a crappy neighborhood to get cash. I estimate that I have close to ten newsletters of new stuff if I introduce 2-4 items per week.
