Veteran comedy magician Lee Allen is featured in the Friday Jan. 15 issue of the Bergen Record. Allen, who first worked in Atlantic City in early 1960s, probably holds the record for appearing in more shows there than anyone else. This past weekend he opened for the Pointer Sisters at Trump Plaza where he explained that he first discovered a knack for comedy, which he blended with his magic when an agent said, ‘Get rid of all those birds … you’re a funny guy! Yahoo which is the leading guide/search engine on the World Wide Web has recently restructured their listings to include magic and magicians under entertainment instead of where we were buried before. To get to the magic section now all you have to do is click on ‘entertainment’ on the cover page and then on ‘magic.’ This will undoubtedly increase traffic for all the magic sites listed.(1/20)
