| A survey by Italy’s Confesercenti and polling institute SWG found, in a pole which was released last Friday, that 22 percent or Italians (10 million people) believe in magic, fortune-telling, astrology and spiritualism. Italy has around 70,000 magicians, astrologers, clairvoyants and faith healers. 2.5 percent (1.2 million people) of the people poled declared that they were victims of fraud. | The fifth annual auction devoted to magic and conjuring antiques will take place at the Galerie de Chartres in Chartes, France on Sunday Oct. 17. The auction is split into two sessions. | Phil Temple’s forthcoming Kellar book which was scheduled to be released this month has been delayed till mid October. The reason for the delay was a last minute chance to add more material. Temple traveled to Erie, PA on the 4th of July to meet with the Kellar family which helped him get new information.
