Who would have thought that all those science fiction shows about zombies and viruses would happen in real life?

What a difference a few days make. The last newsletter was about the upcoming Magic Roadshows. Unfortunately, they had to be cancelled.

I had a wonderful time at NEMCON last weekend. Great new venue, great acts, lots of friends, great conversations and am looking forward to their 40th Anniversary next year.

For the past few years I have been hearing about Nick Diffatte as being the future of comedy magic.

Sum It Up is just beautiful and made of Maple and Oak woods with clear Plexiglass windows.

Of Jerry Andrus' many creations, the one routine I saw him perform the most, was his Two Card Trick (which wasn’t really a card trick).

I saw Max Maven do his now famous Pocket Nightmare routine was in the 1980s during one of the New York Symposiums. He fooled everyone in the room and it eventually became his trademark routine.

Of my many releases in recent years, my favorite to perform is Gene Maze’s Catch Me & Win. It makes sense since I have been doing versions of it for most of my life.

As you may also remember from previous years I am often in contact with some of the dealers and at the end of the convention they hand over their leftovers to Mike Miller who generously carries them across the world, I then make a 180 mile round-trip to Pennsylvania and have lunch with him where I also get tipped off on the latest trends.

I have noticed over the years that there are two hidden methods that fool me more that any other. Thread and math.
