I am a fan of the card magic of Jack Carpenter. But not just his magic I always pay attention to people who have a lifelong passion for what they do and are happy to enthusiastically share it with all who are interested.

My Unexpected Methods lecture was received much better than I expected. At last count it had more than 2,300 views and lots of compliments. I am glad many of you enjoyed the inside look of how my brain works.

I hope that many of you had a chance to see my new lecture last night. I always have fun sharing my magic.

I am extremely happy with my final release of the year. These are manufactured by Nick Diffatte using the Dr X design and equipment.

Today’s video download is a routine by my friend Magic Ian. This was one of the routines he was best known for and I remember being fooled by it many times when he demonstrated it behind his booth at conventions.

I am a sucker for puns… I really like them. I used to use them when performing. One time after a show at Mostly Magic one of the comedians decided to do an intervention.

These are licensed Rubik items and might end up as collectibles since the license is strictly enforced and has expired.

In addition to emotions, when performing magic in general, and close-up in particular, the more of the audiences’ senses you can engage during the magic the more magical the experience can be.

I had the opportunity recently to pick up some licensed Rubik cube products that have been discontinued.

This is a limited-edition routine that is very clever. It is a coin routine that uses coins in a new and unique way.
