MyMagic eNewsletter #1,426
August 13, 2026
There will be three newsletters this week. It will not be a habit. Back to two next week. I am doing this because I wanted to introduce you to something special in the Saturday newsletter.
Below you will find the 25th Anniversary edition of Peter Nardi’s Knock’Em Dead. An excellent card routine that will fool anyone. This new edition was printed by the US Playing Card Company. I never saw this before… until Harry Nardi fooled me with it in Vegas.
►Knock’Em Dead:
An updated release (25th Anniversary Edition) of an easy, self-working card routine that will fool just about anyone.
The routine is simple, the method is devious and the reactions you get from both magicians and lay people are always great.
It is a direct prediction where someone is handed a deck of cards and deals them face up on your palm. They can stop dealing anytime they want. Once they stop at a card, you prove that you knew they were going to stop at it all along by revealing your prediction.

►Ali Bongo Wallet:
This is an easy-to-use wallet that can be used for various visual routines using paper money or similar sized objects.
You are taught three routines with it (as seen on the trailer). The routines vary from producing money, changing one bill into another, or even multiple changes. A nice feature in most of the versions is that you can remove the bills and hand them out at the end.
You can even do things like borrowing a twenty-dollar bill from someone and changing it into four fives. Many possibilities possible, paper to money, or even using it to ring in a gimmicked bill.

►BACK IN STOCK:
Keeping with the theme of card routines that fool people, definitely fooled me when I first saw it. It is the one-deck version of Astor’s Eliminator. It is a full routine with multiple surprise endings. If you never got this before I would highly recommend it.
►Eliminator:
It begins as a very fair looking gambling/gaming routine where a spectator gets to decide which of two envelopes contains money. If they pick the right one, they get the cash.
Two envelopes are displayed, a red one and a black one. The spectator is then given a chance to eliminate cards, in the fairest possible manner, until there is only one left. If the last card is red, they get the red envelope. If its black they get what is in the black envelope.
The envelope they did not pick is then opened and it is full of cash. They lost.
But wait. What about the envelope they selected? What is inside that? When they look inside, they find a duplicate of the card that they freely selected!

►MY MAGIC’S LATEST RELEASE:
►Twisted Royalty:
A quick and easy routine using a handful of cards that turn face up and face down one at a time and lead to an unexpected finish.
You start with a small packet of face-down cards that turn face up one at a time as the cards count down to a finale.
The Four turns face up, then mysteriously turns face down. Next the Three turns face up, followed by the Two. Finally, the Ace appears—and is immediately joined by the rest of its Royal Flush family?

PS: I have accidentally spent most of my life hanging around people who are much smarter than me. Being the stupidest person in the room has many, many advantages. The key is to listen and absorb what is happening around you.
“It is perhaps unnecessary to state that misdirection in one form or another must always be employed when stealing a load, and the stronger the misdirection, the more open can be the steal, although there is no point in taking risks in that respect.”
