One of the things I regularly do while at the booth at magic conventions, since I rarely have a chance to look around while working, is to ask many of my friends and customers what they saw that they liked or purchased. At Magic Live the item that was mentioned the most was Key Cutter. I didn’t get a chance to get any there… but I have a bunch now. I was able to re-edit the trailer so you can see a full performance of the two main routines.
I did want to mention though that the presentation I have been using with it is the same one that I use with David Roth’s Eraser Coin. You can watch that, second routine, in my Bent, Erased & Spiked trailer: HERE
►Key Cutter:
A neat effect where you show a key blank and magically add teeth to it, so it becomes a working key.
You are taught several routines with this precision gimmick. Where the magic happens in the spectator’s hands… while they are holding the key. Everything is examinable at the end.

I recently found a video of David Solomon performing his Hocus Poker routine. Since he is the creator, he obviously does a better job than me. Take a look: HERE
►Hocus Poker:
This is the first time the routine has been performed on video. Meir Yedid uses the exact handling that is taught… the only thing he changed was the presentation. Once you see what the routine looks like you will likely want to learn it.
The basic routine involves a contest between two card cheaters. Each gets the same hand “Aces & Eights” which is also known as the “Dead Man’s Hand.”
Using that hand they try to outcheat each other. The first cheater changes their hand to the four Aces! The second cheater changes their hand into a Straight Flush! As a finale the first cheater changes their hand into a Royal Flush!

►BACK IN STOCK:
Clemens Ilgner’s book previously sold out so I thought I should get more. It is excellent and I decided to add the trailer I originally made for his lecture notes, that I offered a few years ago. Take a look at the product page, you will be surprised by the live endorsements. I also received a few more of the Sharpie Wands that I like so much.
►Practicing The Art Of Magic:
Clemens Ilgner is a classically trained musician and award-winning magician. As we all know, the amount of practice required to become an accomplished musician as astronomical compared to magic.
In this excellent book Clemens applies what he learned through years of study and practice of music to magic. He offers a unique approach to practicing sleights and routines and incorporating sound psychological studies. If you’re looking to rehearse more effectively, make progress, and gain additional confidence in your performance, this guide is for you.

►Sharpie Wand:
This is an exceptionally well-made magic wand that can be used as a Sharpie Marker to have items signed.
Unlike the popular Sherpa Shells that go over Sharpies to make them elegant, the cap on the wand is airtight and will not dry up the markers like the Sherpas. It has an original Sharpie cap fused into the tip so it will not dry out.
It is made of high-quality anodized aluminum and powder coated to create a scratch resistant finish. The Sharpie is also replaceable.

►LATEST MYMAGIC RELEASE:
►Coin Clip:
Christian Scherer redesigned the original Slydini Coin Clip in the 1980s, to make it much easier to handle and the perfect size for four half dollars. It also allows for more natural handlings.
The video tutorial is the most comprehensive treatise on the subject ever presented. It includes many of the common methods as well as little known applications for close-up and stage. Subjects include: Coin Insertions (7 methods), Hand Steals (6 methods), Hand To Hand Toss, Lapping (4 methods), Almost Perfect Vanish, Sleeving (2 methods), Topit, NOW-U-IT Vanish, Pull (3 methods), Pendulum Principle/Upside-Down Topit (2 Methods), Baby Bottle Nipple, Silly Putty, and much more.

PS: Almost finished with a new MyMagic release. It should be ready by this weekend but will likely wait a week before releasing it.
PS2: If you did not watch my interview, to learn how I think, you can catch it: HERE
“After you’ve successfully trained the moves, actions, etc., during practicing, then begin rehearsing the entire routine/ trick sequence from beginning to end.”
