A few years ago, Rafael Benatar contacted me and told me I should carry some of Hernan Maccagno’s products since he is coming to Florida and can bring them with him. The one item of his that caught my eye and fooled me completely was his Quimera Box. I had no idea how it worked.
Unfortunately, by the time I decided to get some he was already in the US.
I forgot about it until I saw him do it on Fool-Us where he destroyed P&T: HERE
He also performed it at this year’s 4F Convention where I once again had no clue. Luckily, he had a few with him and I was able to get you some.
►Quimera Box:
Hernan created a sensation on social media with his Fool-Us appearance performing his hollow coin box routine. And yes, he badly fooled P&T by allowing them to examine all the props before and after the routine.
Although there are a couple of routines explained on the tutorial this is basically a coin box routine where coins vanish and appear inside it, even though it has no bottom or lid. It creates impossible seeming sequences that would be impossible with any other coin box.

Every year after the 4F Convention I buy all the remaining inventory of the collectible FFFF 50th Anniversary Decks that Card Shark brings to the convention, and they usually sell out in a few days. Here is another opportunity for the card collectors to add to their pasteboard hoarding empires.
►FFFF 50th Anniversary Decks:
This is the 4F deck of cards commemorates the 50th Anniversary Convention that was held in Buffalo, New York on April 26-29, 2023. The deck is subtitled “50 Years Spreading Magic around The World” and features a special animation that features that. Look at the trailer.
Some Features: Printed on the new Card-Shark stock, features the Phoenix Face Design (Large Index), includes two Jokers, custom tuck box, back design features a special global animation, and is limited print run.

►Bill Swindle:
One of Michael Skinner’s favorite Scotty York routines is this swindle with bills, that is based on Larry West’s Passing The Buck. Scotty’s version streamlines the handling allowing all but two of the bills to be examined at the end. The only sleight used is an Elmsley Count.
You begin by showing you have four $1 bills. You then jokingly count them as eight $1 bills. Then as a finale you show that you actually have a $1 bill, a $2 bill, a $5 bill, a $10 bill, a $20 bill, a $50 bill, and a $100 bill for a total of $188!

►BACK IN STOCK:
As I mentioned previously Ted Bogusta was working very hard to get me two of his coin sets for the 4F Convention. Although most of the silver coins sold out, or are very close to selling out, I do have a few of the standard Kennedy editions of the Holesome Coins and the Dual Position Triple Split sets left.
►Holesome Coins: Japanese Edition:
The basic routine involves three coins. A Japanese coin with a hole in it, a small African coin with a hole in it, and a Walking Liberty silver half dollar. The first phase begins with an impossible single coin transposition, followed by an even more impossible two for one coin transposition, with a final phase where the silver coin jumps back from your pocket, is used to vanish the two other coins, and can be handed out for examination.

►Dual Position Triple Split Coins:
What Ted Bogusta created is a magnetic system he calls Dual Position which uses specially designed and manufactured magnets that allow the magnetic coins to overlap without aligning. This system allows you to place the overlapping coins in your hands, on the table, or even in the spectators hands.
Of special interest to coin magic experts and creators is that all the sets are made with north magnets on the heads, and south magnets on the tails. This allows you to purchase multiple sets to combine into larger routines like a matrix.

PS: Although I picked up several weeks worth of new products and exclusives, the one item that I really wanted eluded me. Hope to get some by the end of July.
