Max Malini who passed away in 1942 is a mysterious legend. It is amazing how a close-up magician can become so popular based on the many stories and tricks that his contemporaries shared about him. Dai Vernon shared many stories and wrote a book about his friend.

Malini was best known for creating memorable and impossible magical moments that seemed impromptu.

The few legendary stories about him were repeated by many magicians and even used as the theme to Paul Daniels’ West End show.

After your spectator selects a card, you introduce a stack of business cards with a beautiful picture of hands on it. You riffle the stack of business cards like a flip book and the hands begin to animate. The hands clap and a deck of cards appears between them.
