The new Magic Button Project is a worthwhile investment in time (3-hour tutorial) and effort (although very little is required). At its core it serves as a terrific running gag and a kicker ending for any Ambitious Card type of routine. What makes it even more special is that the signed button card becomes a souvenir. When you watch the trailer, you will see the surprise ending to the routine.
Rick Holcombe just gave a fantastic review of our R.O.P.S. Revolution download. You can watch it: HERE

►Magic Button:
At its core this is an excellent way to end an Ambitious Card routine where every time they press the button their card jumps to the top of the deck until the big finale when the red button card is turned over to reveal that it is the signed selection.
This is referred to as the Magic Button Project because you also get a bunch of extra gaffed cards that can be used for the other routines explained in the tutorial. Routines include: Main Handling, Streamline Handling, Streamline Triumph, Wild Card Smash, Eye Button, Button Monte, Duplicating Button, Signature Button, Vanish, Brayden Dewese Handling, Button Sandwich, Button Stupidity, and Ambitious Button. Along with the routines you are also taught many of the techniques that are being used throughout.

The book chronicles the fascinating life of Paul Rosini and explains much of the exceptional magic he performed during his career. Illustrated with rare photographs and beautiful illustrations, this entertaining book relates Rosini’s rise to fame in American nightclubs in the 1930’s until his untimely death in 1948.
Rosini was a master magician. His brilliant magic coupled with his sparkling sense of humor, and compelling personality, made him one of conjuring’s highest paid entertainers!
In addition to Rosini’s life story, detailed explanations for over 100 effects of Rosini’s and his contemporaries are included! Includes a reprint of Paul Rosini’s Magical Gems booklet from 1950.

►BACK IN STOCK:
A lot of you take advantage of the notifications feature of the website and buy the stuff that comes back before I get a chance to announce it in the newsletter. The three items below are almost all gone but I have a few left. Get them now…
Besides the two puzzles below I also received a shipment of the silver Dual Position Triple Sets that I have been getting requests for. The Morgans are the ones I get the most requests for, and I am supposed to get a few more very soon. Until then take a look at the American Eagles, they are a little larger than Morgans and are beautiful.
►Dual Position Triple Split Coin:
What Ted Bogusta created is a magnetic system he calls Dual Position which uses specially designed and manufactured magnets that allow the magnetic coins to overlap without aligning. This system allows you to place the overlapping coins in your hands, on the table, or even in the spectators’ hands.
The coins are also a little thicker than most which allows them to be shown as full sized coins as opposed to shims.

►Puzzling Chocolate:
An impossible puzzle that gives the impression of magic. You show a bar of Mini Chocolates with 70 pieces of chocolate. You remove one piece leaving 69. You then rearrange the pieces so it looks like you still have 70 pieces left — an impossibility. But that is not all. You repeat the sequence two more times so a total of three pieces are removed and left in plain sight yet the chocolate bar is still complete with 70 countable pieces!

►Gift Boxes Illusion:
It was originally created by Roger Shepard and first published in 1990 under the name “Turning the tables”, using tabletops, and that is why it is commonly known as Shepard Tables and the Shepard Tabletop Illusion.
In an effort to make the illusion play as a magic routine and to be able to present it standing up, the new artwork was placed on a steel board and the lids of the boxes were made into magnets. This allows you to visually demonstrate the illusion and take credit for the magic.

►LATEST RELEASE:
►Brain Bogglers:
For many years Meir Yedid has been opening his stage, parlor, and formal close-up shows with a series of three optical illusions/brain twisters where he explains how magic works. The premise is that we tell you the truth, but your brain lies to you.
The three optical illusions/brain twisters are the standard Word Skipping Illusion, Cornsweet Illusion, and Thatcher illusion, although they have been modified to optimize the live presentations and make them more interesting.

►eBay Update:
I keep adding stuff to my eBay auctions almost daily so they will be stuff ending on most afternoon/evenings. But will still try to have the most items expiring on Sunday evenings. I am no longer discriminating on what I add. Some good stuff along with some junk that I am sure to lose money on. But as the expression goes: One person’s junk is another person’s treasure!

“The fascination of performing card tricks is very great, and the advanced magician regards a pack of cards as a means of creating mystery and providing varied entertainment.”
…Walter Gibson (Howard Thurston 200 More Tricks You Can Do, 1927)
