One of the routines I used to close my table-hopping sets with was a version of Paul Harris’s Solid Deception. I had a custom deck made by a Plexiglass specialist which would make a loud echoing sound when tossed on a table.
The Tech Deck is the next and most modern innovation for that plot. I wish I had something like that when I was performing.
►Tech Deck:
A great ending for a card magic routine. This is a real looking plastic deck of cards that when cut in half or opened flashes all kinds of electronic diodes.
The high-quality deck features a magnetic closure and a reed switch-activated circuit board that activates brilliant blue LED bulbs when opened and turns them off when it’s closed. Even though it’s solid state, this looks just like a real deck of cards until you share its secret with your spectators. Each deck comes with a red bicycle back, but any card back can be glued to it.

►Hot Doggie!:
This PDF booklet was the instruction manual for the Hot Doggie! magic trick which included a rubber hot dog. You can use any toy, or real hot dog for the routine.
The basic routine begins with you noticing that there is a paper dog on your lapel. You grab the dog to display it and say “Isn’t it cute? It’s a little doggie. This is what they make hot dogs out of.”
You remove a lighter from your pocket and flick it on, as if you are going to set the dog on fire. “Really,” as you say this you set fire to the dog, it will burst into flames, and you are now holding a real-looking HOT DOG!

►Forks Full Of Appetizers:
The 73 contributors are a who’s who of close-up magic. Many of the names have become hugely popular creators and performers in our field and many of the contributions in this book are routines and techniques they actually used to earn a living. What is also special about this book is that most of the routines were written by their inventors. If you knew them, you could hear their voices explaining the magic.
Inside you will find 98 close-up routines using cards, coins, and other small objects. The skill level required ranges from easy, to difficult. There is literally something for everyone here, whether you are a hobbyist, student, or the most skilled professional, you will find magic to play with and perform.

►Dual Position Triple Split Coins:
There have been many versions released by many different companies, but most are basically the same. Until now…
What Ted Bogusta created is a magnetic system he calls Dual Position which uses specially designed and manufactured magnets that allow the magnetic coins to overlap without aligning. This system allows you to place the overlapping coins in your hands, on the table, or even in the spectators’ hands.
are also a little thicker than most which allows them to be shown as full sized coins as opposed to shims.
