I have been emceeing a show at the 4F convention for most of the past couple of decades. As an emcee you can rarely pay attention to the middle of the acts since there are always things to take care of backstage.
After last week’s opening show several people told me that the “The Jesus guy” fooled the hell out of them. His real name is Bernardo Sedlacek from Brazil and I predict that he will become very popular in the world of card magic.
He has managed to combine the trends set by Tamariz, DaOrtiz and others into his own style and way of thinking. In so doing he can completely fool you, as he did throughout the 4F Convention in the lobby, hospitality suite and during the many informal sessions that take place 24/4.
He actually has a 10-hour video course that teaches his philosophy and techniques toward card magic, that he is selling during his current North American tour. Another item he is selling at his lectures is his Sedladeck. This is a routine he uses to close his shows and lectures that uses a special deck and a very devious presentation.
I understand that later this year it will be released by one of the magic companies with nice packaging. But until that happens, he agreed to let me sell some to you, giving you an exclusive until it becomes popular.
This edition of the trick is practically self-working and includes the gaffed deck and a one-hour online tutorial.
The video trailer of Bernardo performing the routine was shot last night at his lecture using a phone, so the quality is low but you will get the idea of the effect.

I also want to introduce you to two more coin items from Martinka.
►Silver Morgan Set of Re-Edged Coins and Shell:
This is a set of real 1921 Silver Morgan Dollars that have been re-edged for easy palming and handling and a matching expanded shell.
You get a total of four coins and a shell with matching dates and similar coin quality. Take a look at the photographs.
Get it: HERE.
►Silver Franklin Coins and Shell:
The Silver Franklin Half Dollars are very pretty but are difficult to gaff because of the raised profiles of Ben Franklin and the liberty bell.
This is a rarely made set of four real silver Franklin half-dollars and a matching expanded shell. You get a total of four coins and a shell with matching dates and similar coin quality. Take a look at the photographs.
Get it: HERE.
Below you will find descriptions and links to some items that are still available from the last newsletter. I have very few of each, so if you have any interest in them please consider getting them now.
Until next time,
Meir
