Rhythm is a very important aspect of a live presentation. You hear it in music, story telling, comedy, and often in magic. All my favorite comedians have a rhythm that brings an audience to a higher level of enthusiasm.
There are very few magic routines where rhythm is built into the presentation and procedure. My favorite, and one I performed thousands of times is Aldo Colombini’s Jumbo Coincidence (HERE). The repetitive action at the end creates a frenzy and enthusiasm when performed live.
Derek Dingle helped popularize multiple endings to tricks because of the reactions they garnered. Slydini took a different, challenge, approach but created the same feeling. The card routines that Martin Nash closed his acts with all had that rhythm, same with Rene Lavand, and Juan Tamariz.
Alakazam’s new release reminded me of that frenzy because of the multiple endings that overlap each other creating a crescendo. See below.
►Poison:
Poison is a self-working card routine that can be performed for one to four people at once. It has multiple phases and reveals which is best seen on the trailer as opposed to me describing them.
Three bonus routines and cards are also included in the package. You will learn Staying Alive which is a short version of the above routine. Cocktail Poker where the spectator gives you the real drinks while keeping the poison for themselves, and Drink Monte.

►Jumbo Coincidence:
Magicians and lay people love watching this electrifying routine which fools, entertains and causes a frenzy.
Two packets of jumbo half-cards are mixed. A spectator freely selects a card from one of the packets and leaves it protruding. You simultaneously turn the top cards of both packets face up showing the cards are different. Continue until the selected card is reached, it matches the card in the other pile. A perfect match.
As a kicker ending, both packets are turned face down and when you start dealing the cards face up, each and every card matches.

►Back in stock:
Back in stock are some of my favorite routines. As soon as they arrived the magicians who placed notifications for them grabbed them up, but I do have a few of each left.

PS: If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you probably heard about the ambush at the warehouse. It was the brainchild of Roger Dreyer who executed it perfectly with the help of Mark Setteducati and others. Thanx!
