MyMagic eNewsletter #987

What do Wedgies, N-Strippers, and Taillight knives have in common?
All are MyMagic exclusives. All are hand-made by experts in the field. The first time I introduced them, they sold out immediately. And they continually sell-out every time they become available. All three items were supposed to arrive this week. The knives which were supposed to be here on Tuesday are currently in postal limbo. Could get here tomorrow or in a few weeks. Who knows?
Around a third of the cards were already scooped up by magicians who signed up for notifications.

►N-Stripper Deck:
For a very long time the N-Stripper Deck, also known as a Negative Stripper, has been a closely held secret among card cheaters and very few advanced card magicians.
Unlike any other type of deck that shares part of its name, these cards can be shuffled and cut by the spectator in any way they like. They can even be washed and turned as they do in casinos.
After all the shuffling and cutting you can strip out the Aces, the Kings, Queens, Jacks, and tens.

►Double Wedge Deck:
There are several types of Stripper Decks that are not well known being used by expert magicians for various applications. One such version is known as the Double Wedge deck.
It is much easier to handle because one of the features of the deck is that the cards are shaved on an angle on both sides of the cards instead of just one. This creates a different feel to the cards, and they can be easily stripped with just one swipe. Because they are easier to use, they are ideal for people with dry hands or have low sensitivity in their fingers.
Another advantage is that they allow the cards to be stripped forward to simulate a natural looking table cut.

The Essential Sol Stone book I introduced on Sunday sold very fast and the Japanese coins continue to sell as word of mouth starts spreading. Check them out:
►Essential Sol Stone: Intimate Magic with the Sol Stone Touch:
At long last, legendary New York magician Sol Stone’s best effects have been amassed into a single volume. Here are more than 50 of Sol’s favorite effects — including some of his most closely guarded secrets — all completely updated and rewritten, with the full routines and Sol’s newest improvements.
The book details all the sleights and subtleties in Sol’s arsenal, clearly and in isolation, thereby streamlining and simplifying the learning process. Magicians of all skill levels can learn from this master of intimate illusion.

►Japanese Coins & Shell Set:
These very special coins are US Half Dollar size, they were stamped in brass, and were given an antique gold finish. The expanded shell was manufactured by making duplicate coins that were a little larger than a half dollar and then a lathe was used to hollow them out and create a perfect shell with full coverage. It is so good that you can show both sides of the shelled coin and you can’t tell that it is there.
The set includes four regular Japanese coins and a matching shell.
BONUS: Every purchase of the set will include access to a 20-minute video tutorial starring David Roth, Derek Dingle, and Michael Gallo.
