A few months ago, I had the opportunity to acquire a shipment of nesting bottles. They are sets of five bottles that are made of metal, are hollow, and can fit into each other so all five bottles can be handled as one.
It is basically half a set of multiplying bottles without the tubes. I thought they would make great production items where five bottles can be produced from a small space. It could be from a production apparatus, a paper bag, or even a body load. You can produce one bottle or all five depending on the routine.
I mentioned the idea to Bill Schmeelk, and he suggested I look up Richard Himber’s Vanishing Bottles. I worked out a simple handling of the routine and that is what you see me demonstrate on the trailer: HERE
Himber had labels on both sides of the bottles so he he could show them twice and seemingly vanish nine bottles instead of four.
I had many other ideas with the bottles, and I mentioned the better ones in the accompanying instructions.
►Multicolor Nesting Bottles:
The title of this product also describes what it is. You get five bottles that nest into each other or in reverse you have one bottle that can be used to multiply into five.
You can do a lot more with this set than what is on the trailer. For example, you can easily keep all five bottles inside any production apparatus and produce them one at a time. The labels on the bottles are basic but you can easily cover them with real labels or even print your own.
Comes with five metal bottles that range in size from 8.5”x3” to 10”x3.75” and a sheet of basic instructions. Limited Quantity.

A classic Petrie Lewis prop brought back to life.
This Billiard Ball Stand is a classic for stage manipulators. The stand spears to hold seven billiard balls but six of the compartments have shells built in that can be levered up or down depending on whether you want to appear to put a ball on the stand or pretend to take one off.
Comes with a stand made from stainless steel and brass with a chrome finish (with P&L hallmark).
