Although I am not a mentalist, I always used at least one mentalism piece in my shows. Over the years I created, published, and marketed many mentalism routines, most can also be presented as magic or coincidence.
Today I will introduce you to a little-known David Solomon card routine. The routine uses a series of misspotted cards and a matching system I never knew about. It is devious and I had to try it a few times to see if it actually works, since I can’t wrap my head around how it works… But it does!
►Mental Marriage:
A little-known multi-phase card routine where your friends’ selections continually match your predictions and end with a surprise. It is self-working and the method is devious. It is so direct and impossible that you would think stooges are involved.
Here is exactly what you can do with the special cards.
Using two friends you hand one of them the four Kings and the other the four Queens. They each shuffle their cards and put them down on the table. They each select one of their cards (free choice) and the two suites match perfectly. This can be repeated as many times as you want, and the cards can match or not at your discretion.

A Card Problem For You:
For a few decades I have been thinking about a card problem I thought of. What I wanted to do, with examinable cards, was have two people at a table. Hand them each half a deck to shuffle. They spread the cards face down in front of them. They each remove a card and their two cards match. This is then repeated a few more times.
My most direct method so far is to use a marked deck, a card index (of 26 cards), and a card switch. …but that is still not satisfying.
Surprisingly I am able to recreate that effect using the cards that come with David’s Mental Marriage using just the Kings and Queens.
Wanted to remind you that the introductory price for these two downloads expires soon. I was also told that these David Roth lecture notes are where he finally explained how to exactly make the gimmicked bottles for his Coin In Bottle Finale, where the bottle turns inside-out.
►One Coin Routine:
The next time you find yourself with a coin in hand, you will be able to do some visual magic at a moment’s notice. Depending on the situation you can perform one or two quick moves or an entire act.
The One-Coin Routine is modular, which gives you the option of performing the complete routine, or just snippets that can stand on their own and be incorporated into your existing routines! It also includes three different endings (impromptu, multi coin production, and large coin), so you can perform the routine the way you want!

►David Roth Lecture Notes #4:
David Roth was the most influential and creative coin magician in history. He literally revolutionized the way coin magic was performed and perceived. This is a digital copy of what is likely his third set of lecture notes which were never dated and simply titled “A Magical Lecture By David Roth.”
It contained the original routines that he wanted to perform, impress with, and teach at his lectures.
Contents:Wild Coin, Stonehenge, Coin In Bottle Finale, Edge Grip Technique, and Winged Silver With Edge Grip.

►Tech Deck:
A great ending for a card magic routine. This is a real looking plastic deck of cards that when cut in half or opened flashes all kinds of electronic diodes.
The high-quality deck features a magnetic closure and a reed switch-activated circuit board that activates brilliant blue LED bulbs when opened and turns them off when it’s closed. Even though it’s solid state, this looks just like a real deck of cards until you share its secret with your spectators. Each deck comes with a red bicycle back, but any card back can be glued to it.

►BACK IN STOCK:
Just got a few more of Max Maven’s Pocket Nightmare which was one of the routines he was best known for.
►Pocket Nightmare:
Max Maven’s signature routine: You tell your audience that you will perform an effect with only one hand, to make sure that everyone knows that sleight-of-hand is not possible. The other hand is placed in your pocket. The spectator peeks at a card in the deck. You are then able to divine the card that the spectator is only thinking of.
The deck is then given to the spectator who is invited to search through the deck for their card only to discover that it has completely vanished. You said you would do the trick with only one hand, but you did not specify which hand. You remove your other hand from your pocket holding the vanished selection.
