On the last day of Magic Live I was able to get most of the new Marvel branded magic sets and card clips that were left at the Fantasma booth. It was a lot of boxes, and I was able to place them on the Potter pallet that was trucked to Chicago and then FedExed to me. I also had to promise not to introduce them until they officially launch at the NY Toy Fair.

Today I will offer you the two different magic sets I picked up. I also have a ton of the branded card clips that include a gaffed deck. I wanted to do a video unboxing/trailer for those that I hope to have ready by Saturday’s newsletter.

►Marvel Multiverse Of Magic Sets:

Fantasma Magic negotiated an exclusive license to release many Marvel themed magic products. These are the first two magic sets in the series.

What makes them special is the beautiful packaging. The box is designed to look like a magic book with a magnetic lid (as pictured) and is meant to sit on a bookshelf when not in use. Could very well end up being a collectible.

►Progressive Bills:

A routine right out of Meir Yedid’s professional stage and parlor acts. One he has been performing for most of his career. This is a quick version of the bill repeat plot that is logical, self-working, and has a powerful “applauds cue” ending. The brilliant part of the method is that the big finale serves as the secret gimmick throughout the routine. The routine ends with a flash unfold that produces the gimmick to great applauds.

It is completely self-contained, packs small (fits in a wallet or envelope), always ready to perform, ideal for stage and platform shows, a perfect Emcee routine and can even be a hit in family and children’s shows.

What Ted Bogusta created is a magnetic system he calls Dual Position which uses specially designed and manufactured magnets that allow the magnetic coins to overlap without aligning. This system allows you to place the overlapping coins in your hands, on the table, or even in the spectators’ hands.
