During the last century I was a demonstrator, briefly, at the Magic Towne House in New York City. Most of the customers were kids and their parents that hung around after the weekend shows. My three favorite things to show were the Five In One Wand (especially the silk production and levitation), Art Kahn’s Silk to Rope, and the Hopping Halves. The Wand and Rope tricks outsold everything because they were both under $4.00 (I think $1.50 and $3.50).
When I saw the release of the new Hopping Keys, I knew I had to get some to play with. Since keys with shells have to be manufactured (stamped) they rarely look like house keys. But these are good and can pass as simple keys. The standard routine works well, and I decided to include a full performance by Bond Lee, instead of a trailer of mostly hype.
►Hopping Key:
The Hopping Half is a classic gimmicked coin routine that has been performed by many magicians and enthusiasts. The classic is now available using manufactured keys.
The basic routine begins with two keys, a gold one and a silver one. You place the gold key in your pocket, and it jumps back to your hand, you repeat with the silver key, and it too jumps back, you repeat one more time with the silver key and as a finale everything disappears and can then reappear at your discretion.
Using the set of keys, you can also perform other types of routines like color changes, transpositions, splits, appearances, vanishes and more. Many of those are discussed in the tutorial.

►Premonition Outdone:
The routine begins by displaying two decks of cards, a red deck and a blue deck. The spectator selects one of the decks and places it in their pocket. The remaining deck, let’s assume it is the blue deck, is spread on the table to show 52 different cards. One of those cards is selected by the spectator and placed to one side.
The spectator then takes their red deck and starts dealing the cards face up, counting as they go along, to find out the position to their selection in the red deck. Amazingly there are only 51 cards, and their selection is the card that is missing.
But you are not done yet. The card that was originally selected from the blue deck is turned over to show that it has a red back and is the actual missing card.

►BACK IN STOCK:
These keep selling out and when you get them from me you also get a video download as a bonus tutorial. Although I never mentioned it before I do a version of this in my stage act every month. I really like it, but it will take you a while to master it.
►Four Nightmares DX:
This is a beautiful rope routine created by Mr. Suzuki that uses a special set of gaffed ropes. With these ropes and very little effort you will be able to present a routine that you will carry with you for both stage and close-up performances.
This edition features five phases where two unequal ropes stretch to the same size, they are tied together and merge into one rope, a knot is tied in the center and visually slid off, another larger knot is formed and slid off to form a loop, as a finale the loop and rope meld together into one rope.
