A little-known warehouse find from around 30 years ago by Toshio Akanuma that is nowhere to be found on the web. It was released by Tricks Co. in Japan.
It is basically a double prediction with a special deck. It uses one of my favorite methods. A ranging force with multiple outs.
While discussing the method with Ted Bogusta we brainstormed a second phase that we like.
Instead of having the spectator cut to the second card have them name any number and count to it. That card will then match the second prediction and have a 33% chance of creating an unbelievable coincidence. You will understand how that works when you read the instructions. Very limited quantity.
►The Miracle That Happened Twice:
A prediction envelope is placed in full view and a deck of cards is shown and cut by the spectator. The cards are now dealt face up and the spectator stops you anytime. The card they stopped you at matches the prediction in the envelope.
The deck is reassembled and cut several times. The spectator now cuts the deck anywhere they like, and the card cut to matches the second prediction in the envelope.

►ARM: Almost Real Magic:
The theme revolves around an entrance exam that is used to qualify players to enroll in a Blackjack Card Counting School.
The observation test begins with two identical hands of Blackjack (AC and JH). The object is to see if the candidate can follow where the cards are.
The first test is easy and your friend names the Ace, then things get tough. Unexpectedly the Blackjack on the table is now seen as two Aces while the one in your hand has the Jacks.
To simplify things, you decide to only use the two Jacks this time but wait now there are three Jacks and only one Ace. As a finale all four cards are shown to be Jacks and there is no Ace in sight.

PS: Excited to break-in a new routine in my stage act this weekend. Difficult part was deciding which routines and bits to replace…never to be seen again…maybe!
