Lubor Fiedler was a friend of mine. I saw him lecture when I was a teenager and used to regularly see him at conventions around the world, mostly in the UK, and our interactions always started the same way… He would ask me to show his friends my finger stuff. I used to perform several of his routines and his Royal Fantasy was my favorite. I was very happy to see it released by João Miranda.
►Royal Fantasy:
Royal Fantasy is Lubor Fiedler’s reimagining of Brother John Hamman’s classic where four kings are shown one at a time and instantly change to spot cards.
The basic routine has you give your friend the two black kings while you keep the two red kings. You ask if it would be pretty good if your red kings change places with their black kings. Whatever their answer you turn over your cards to show red spot cards and when they turn over their cards they changed into two black cards.

►Bernard’s Lesson On Coin Magic:
The highlight of the booklet is the work on the T. Nelson Downs’ Coin Star. You are first treated with a discussion about the original gimmicked version with rare screenshots of Downs performing it. Then you are taught Bobby Bernard’s ungaffed handling. This is perhaps the best description of this elusive flourish/technique.
Contents include: The Coins, The Hands, Palming A Coin, Thumb Grip, Stretch Palm, Crease Palm, After Ramsay, Production In The Air, Double Production, The Miser’s Misers Dream, The Spellbound Move, The Hummer Coin Penetration, The Downs’ Coin Star, The Bernard Lesson On The Coin Star, The Coins, The Condition Of The Hands, Performing The Coin Star, Placing The Coins On The Fingers And Thumb, The Vanish, and The Production.

►Micro-Pennies:
Micro-Pennies were originally a novelty toy that quickly became a magic prop. They are basically tiny reproductions of real US copper pennies.
They were often used as surprise endings for coin routines where coins shrank or turned into a bunch of tiny pennies. They also make nice gifts at the end of routines. There have been many routines published in books and magazines and even a booklet about them.

►Penny Fantasy:
This booklet revolves around magic using Micro-Pennies which are tiny reproductions of US Pennies.
It begins with Steve Dacri explaining his Penny Fantasy routine using five Micro-Pennies and a Jumbo Penny and ends with Sid Lorraine explaining 13 additional routines and ideas using the Micro-Pennies.

►BACK IN STOCK:
In the last month Gary Ouellet’s ProControl kept selling at a very fast pace… not sure why? It took a few weeks to get more printed, and I received a case of them this week. I think word got out about how easy and efficient it was to use, especially on stage.
►ProControl:
ProControl is a simple secret that will allow you to control selected cards at will. A beginner can learn ProControl in minutes and a professional will use ProControl because of its ease of use that enables you to concentrate on the other aspects of your performance. Forget about crimps, finger breaks, or other traditional methods. This method is easy and guaranteed to work 100% of the time.
As a special bonus you are taught the deviously simple Gilles Couture Swivel Cut Control that will allow you to control cards to the top of the deck within a simple flourish.

“Since there is no real magic, a magician is an actor pretending to be a magician. And, like any actor, he acquires the confidence and facility he needs through practice and rehearsal.”
