As I keep watching more of Dan Garrett’s DVDs, I am realizing that once they are gone, I will likely break them up into single trick video downloads since the individual routines are excellent.
The Close-Up Connivery DVD I am introducing to you today should really be called a walk-around program since these are the routines Dan used for his strolling magic gigs. Watch the trailer. I think you will like what you see.
►Close-Up Connivery DVD:
This DVD features Dan Garrett performing and teaching the real-world, audience-tested routines straight from his working repertoire. All the routines focus on stand-up close-up and walk-around magic that require no tables.
Routines include: Pin-Demonium, Hand Sandwich, Signed Card To Pocket, O.H.S. Card Change, The Mouse That Roared, American Ninja Spellbound, and The Faustus Ring. Also includes explanations, variations, additional phases, and tips.

►Dual Position Copper Silver Copper:
This new gimmicked version designed by Ted Bogusta is likely the best. What Ted did was take the classic set of coins and infused them with his DPS (Dual Position Magnetic System). The custom magnetic system allows you to do all the basic and classic routines plus many more displays and sequences that were never possible before.
The set includes a DPS set with a Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar, an East African ten cent coin, an Australian penny, and the three matching coins so everything can be handed out for examination at the end. All the coins are real.

►Yellow Sponge Mouse To Cheese:
A variation of the classic sponge ball trick where you turn the main object inside out to reveal a different object.
In this case you will display a yellow mouse head (could pass as other characters) that is around 4”x3” and when it is turned inside out it becomes a large piece of triangular cheese that is around 6″x5.5”x3”.

Just received another batch of my favorite gaffed cube routine. Looks like real magic.
►RD Insta Lite:
This is perhaps the best, easiest, and most visual Rubik Cube solve you will ever do.
The basic effect starts with a mixed-up cube that can be shown on all sides. You give it a few twists to make it seem more impossible to solve. And then… it visually solves itself.
The solved cube can be shown on all six sides and even handed out for examination.
The visual solve looks like trick photography. It is so visual that you will swear the stickers themselves are changing color!

►Traits & Emotions:
This routine begins with having your friend think of any person that they know something about. It could be a friend, a relative, an acquaintance or someone famous.
You then show them ten cards which have a list of 100 different human characteristics. You have them find a characteristic that reminds them of the person they are thinking of.
After a little byplay you will know the word they are thinking of, and you can reveal it anyway you like.
