Last year around this time I introduced you to some Magic World UK products that sold-out multiple times. All three items are back in stock. I was particularly excited by the Deadly Marked Deck which was the best and most ingenious tactilely marked deck I have ever seen or handled. I sold a bunch of them online and also live at the last magic convention I attended. Below you will see those items: Deadly Marked Deck, Misindexed Gaff Set, and Clear Queen.
While ordering the above items James mentioned that he has a new trick by Mark Elsdon that I would like that nobody else has yet. It combines three plots into one. An any card at any number, mind reading, and a lie detector.
I personally liked the ungaffed version of the routine that is taught at the end of the tutorial even more than the easier gaffed version. It looks and feels the same and has some very clever subtleties that I will play with.
►Eye Caandy:
The bare bones effect is of a spectator looking at a card, a second spectator cutting off a bunch of cards and counting them to arrive at a random number. The cards are squared and momentarily taken out of site as you apparently shuffle them.
The spectators then decide which one will lie and which will tell the truth. One names a card and the other names a number. You can then tell them which is the liar, and which is the truth teller, what was the selected card, what number the spectator is thinking of, and as a kicker ending the selected card ends up at the freely selected number.

►Deadly Marked Deck:
Although it is almost impossible to see the markings, you can feel for them. It works like brail or peg work but is lightyears ahead of those systems since the tactile aspect is being applied using special ink and a printing press.
Every card is marked for value and suit. By rubbing your thumb across the back of the card you will be able to deduce its exact identity.
The cards are individually made, and the process is very time consuming. They are available in Red Bicycle Rider backs.
