David Roth’s Eraser Coin has been a big hit. As it should be. Thanx.
Dr. Michael Rubinstein who is also considered a master coin worker visited the MyMagic World Headquarters (I like the way that sounds) this week where he dropped off his new release. This is the routine he created after his best-selling book came out.
It is a humorous, coins across routine using some new moves and special props intertwined with lots of puns that surround Bear Migration. A sample of the patter, “Have you ever tried bear meat? It’s grizzly!” I also think that one of the new sleights he teaches in the tutorial could become a new standard for most three-fly type of routines.
There are two versions being offered. One with coins and the other with Poker chips. Michael prefers the Poker chip version and told me that this will be his opening routine the next time he performs at the Magic Castle.

►Migrate:
Migrate is a comedic, coins across, routine that is full of puns and new techniques.
Although it does not use any gaffs it does use some unique, attention getting, and funny props. Unlike most coins across routines that last less than a minute this is designed as a three-minute showpiece that is themed around bears!

►Eraser Coin:
The eraser coin is the most devious and easiest of the many David Roth creations. It combines an optical illusion with a great premise. Many people consider it his greatest routine.
This new edition of the Eraser Coin has been modified slightly from the original to make the erased coin look more realistic and visually satisfying. Available in standard US Half Dollars or Silver Half Dollars.
