Back from the 4F and MAWNY conventions. Seven hour drives each way… but it was worth it.

Had a great time and ended up spending around five times more than I made, on products that I will introduce you to in the next few weeks.

Most of them will be hard to find anywhere else. After John Bannon’s lecture I was able to buy everything he had left.

Very limited quantities.

►Chop Shop:

Play a game of find the lady that ends with the transformation of all of the cards into the aces.

With this trick, you get to challenge your audience to catch you while knowing that you have a killer ending that no one will see coming. The best part is that at the end, all of the cards on the table are examinable.

►Spin Doctor:

An incredible 3-phase routine with fast-paced magic, followed by a surprise ending.

Three kicker endings they never see coming. The Ace of Spades placed on the table transforms into a blank card, then reappears between the aces in your hand, then the backs of those aces change to the colors of the rainbow. This is one of John Bannon’s favorite packet tricks because it packs a whole lot of magic into just a handful of cards.

There were three unique items I decided to take to the 4F Convention and a few of each are left for you to get. First, I had Ted Bogusta make a bunch of his Dual Position Cooper Silver Copper sets in new silver variants. This will likely be the last time they will be available at this price since the price of silver went up by around 30% in the past few weeks.

The other two items that are back in stock are Tic Tac PerfecToe and the autographed copies of You Are All Terrible. Both sold well at the 4F and MAWNY.

►Dual Position Copper Silver Copper:

This new gimmicked version designed by Ted Bogusta is likely the best. What Ted did was take the classic set of coins and infused them with his DPS (Dual Position Magnetic System). The custom magnetic system allows you to do all the basic and classic routines plus many more displays and sequences that were never possible before.

The set includes a DPS set with a Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar, an East African ten cent coin, an Australian penny, and the three matching coins so everything can be handed out for examination at the end. All the coins are real.

►Tic Tac PerfecToe:

What makes this special is the beautifully made self-contained wooden box which houses the props and hides the double reveal.

The basic routine involves a game of Tic Tac Toe with an audience member where you each place a wooden Tic Tac Toe piece until the board is complete. Of course, the game will be a draw.

As you remove the pieces from the box, a piece of wood is seen at the bottom with the word prediction written on it. You then turn over the prediction and it says “DRAW.”

You now explain that the real prediction was on the box. You turn over the box and etched in the wood is the exact layout of the game you just played.

This routine begins with having your friend think of any person that they know something about. It could be a friend, a relative, an acquaintance or someone famous.

You then show them ten cards which have a list of 100 different human characteristics. You have them find a characteristic that reminds them of the person they are thinking of.

After a little byplay you will know the word they are thinking of, and you can reveal it anyway you like.
