Ian Adair who was the backbone of the famed Supreme Magic Company in Devon, England has just joined Magic Direct as the chief magical advisor and editor for their forthcoming British magic magazine. The monthly magazine which is scheduled to debut this month promises 52 pages with 150 international stars of magic as contributors. Subscriptions start at $50 for six months (six editions). Lance Burton has been scheduled to appear on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno on Monday Feb. 8. The appearance will be used to promote his upcoming TV special: “Top Secret.” The show has already aired in Japan on Jan. 1 and 2 and will probably air in the US in the first half of February. In a related story, Costco has sold more than 60,000 Lance Burton magic sets in the last few months with the Burton’s profits being donated to charity.(1/8)
