Lately almost everything I introduced by Hernán Maccagno immediately sold out. Some of the stuff even sold out before I was able to write about it. Below you will find one more of the items I recently picked up from him. The good news is that he is currently putting together a big package of stuff for me that will be shipped from Argentina, which will take a few weeks to get here.

I was also able to pick up an inexpensive and cute new item that you might like that uses cards as an ATM machine which produces money.

►Post Card:

A great way to start a formal close-up show with cards.

You begin by showing and envelope that that contains a thin, flat card case that is seemingly empty.

You slowly assemble the box and then dump out a full deck of ordinary playing cards that you can use for your performance.

►Pocket ATM:

Pocket ATM is a quick and easy way to produce some cash out of two playing cards that look like a cash machine.

You show both sides of the cards and pretend to enter a cash amount and pin number on the card. The bill you asked for slowly rises from between the cards and can be immediately spent.

►Coin Copier:

This is an ingenious self-working coin box routine that Christian Scherer created in the 1980s. Since that time the manufacturing technology and the availability of the gimmicks used has advanced and the current version works perfectly.

The basic routine involves a metal box which is referred to as a tiny counterfeiting machine. You dump the four coins out of the box; a Japanese coin, a Swiss coin, a British coin and a US coin. Using the Japanese coin as a sample each coin is placed in the box and one at a time, as the box is waved over the Japanese coin, the coin inside instantly turns into a duplicate of the Japanese coin. This is repeated until all four coins have turned into Japanese coins and everything is examinable.

►BACK IN STOCK:

While at 4F I picked up a small pile of what I feel is Michael Breggar’s best routine. Many of you must also feel that way since I was able to sell many of them over the past few years.

►Flat Dice:

The basic routine starts out with six dice which are tossed around while your back is turned. The spectator totals all the numbers as you reveal the total without ever turning around.

For the second phase you introduce three more flat dice, making it even more impossible, and repeat the sequence to tell them what number they are thinking of. Only this time you write a prediction while your back is turned.

The final phase starts with the spectator rolling all nine dice, turn them all so the odds or evens are showing, they then turn any of the dice over and total the face-up numbers. The total matches the photographic prediction that has been in full view.
