MyMagic eNewsletter #1,294
April 12, 20254
Great news! I just finalized the purchase of the entire New York Coin Magic Seminar video library which features more than 36 hours of coin magic performances, explanations, discussions, and so much more.
A majority of the magic is presented by Dr. Michael Rubinstein, David Roth, Mike Gallo, and Geoff Latta. They are also joined by their friends who are also giants in the field. Magicians like: Dr. Kainoa Harbottle, Marc DeSouza, Dan Watkins, Giacomo Bertini, Eric Jones, Vic Trabucco, Al Schneider, Scotty York, Bill Citino, Eric DeCamps, Doug Brewer, Scott Robinson, Bob Fitch, and Jean Emmanuel Franzis.

Although the 17-DVD set is a masterclass on the art of magic, and I still have a few dozen box sets available, I decided not to release the full-length videos as downloads. I plan on releasing the material as short videos based on specific tricks, themes, or artists. With more than 250 routines and techniques, if I release one per week I would have a five-year supply. I also think this is a more manageable way to learn the stuff and it will give me a chance to present it as high-quality video.
I am considering doing a weekly digital only newsletter. Maybe call it Download Mondays… but it might be too much of a commitment. There is also lots of content that I will release for free… stay tuned.
For now, I thought you might enjoy watching and listening to a few giants in the field discuss what is and what isn’t a coins across routine. These are the types of weekly passionate discussions/arguments I grew up listening to during the NYC Cafeteria days. Sometimes I thought fist fights might break out over what appear to be simple questions. Watch and enjoy: HERE

“Magicians have always preferred to use ordinary, everyday objects for their tricks— objects which are familiar to everyone: glasses, handkerchiefs, cards, matches, and, last but not least, coins.”
