Meir’s Muses
MyMagic eNewsletter #1,225
August 14, 2024
Today I will introduce you to a new way of thinking about the pen through bill that John Cornelius created. What makes this interesting is everything is examinable at the end, and you can give both the pen and bill out as souvenirs!
Since the pens used are standard ones you can borrow both the pen and bill…Assuming their pen is the correct type of Bic… which the front desk and all the restaurants in Vegas were using.
In the last newsletter I shared a link to my facebook posts. What I wanted to specifically have you look at is the fun stuff that went on with David Blaine as I slowly morphed into him: HERE
►The Gifted Pen:
Gifted Pen takes the classic pen-through-anything effect, offering a level of clarity and naturalness. Unlike traditional gimmicks, Gifted Pen allows you to show the pen openly moments before the penetration occurs and allows you to give it out for examination or as a souvenir at the end. Everything is examinable at the end!
Gifted Pen’s cleverly designed gimmicks can be secretly attached to borrowed (matching Bic pens), allowing for impromptu performances anywhere, anytime.

When I introduced this to you in the last newsletter, I used a live performance trailer because I was in a rush to get it out. I was just able to get access to a proper trailer that explains exactly what the effect is and what you get. Watch: HERE
►Omni Air:
The routine: You take out your deck of cards and slide the cellophane off about a third of the way down the card box. There is a hole clearly cut through the middle of the cellophane. You then take your marker out and put it through the hole while explaining to your audience that what they are seeing is impossible. Remove the marker from the hole and offer it to your spectator, and ask them to replace it.
When they try to put the marker through the cellophane, they discover that it can’t go through. It’s as though an invisible force is preventing the marker from passing through the hole. That’s when you lift the card box the rest of the way out of the cellophane to reveal the air inside it has crystalized into a solid block of glass.
Put the cellophane back on the deck and then you can pull a complete deck of cards out of the box to prove that the glass wasn’t hiding in there and start performing your favorite card tricks.

►OUR LATEST RELEASE:
►Bent, Erased & Spiked:
Both hobbyist and professional magicians are always looking for a quick piece of magic that can be easily carried with them and performed at a moment’s notice.
This package contains three of those routines.
Another great thing that many of those magicians are aware of is that magic routines that end with an impossible object that is also examinable always get great reactions.
All three of these routines end that way.
Coin magic specialists are often in pursuit of one-coin routines that are easy to follow and even easier for audiences to describe.
All three of these routines are simple to follow, one-phase, one-coin routines.

►BACK IN STOCK:
One of the many things I re-stocked while in Vegas was the super-magnetic Obake Quarters that can attract each other through tables and audiences’ hands.
►Obake Quarter Set:
Kreis is best known for his exceptionally powerful magnetic coins that can be used for some incredible seeming magic. The coins are so strong that they can attract each other through your hand, a deck of cards, or even through most tables.
“Obake” means ghost in Japanese, and this “ghost” coins set allows you to do some clean and impossible looking routines that cannot be done with other similar gimmicks.
